Idi made me feel really comfortable and relaxed, I completely trusted her to create and style the look I wanted. She’s an amazing hairstylist, particularly for curly hair!

Super lovely staff, loved that you get to look at art instead of a mirror. So stoaked with my haircut (thank you Marjana!).
Have got sensible covid measures in place and just an overall excellent experience.

Both the cut by Daniel and colour by Jasmine were just what I wanted. So many experiences elsewhere in the past have left me feeling wary but at DKUK I felt they got me completely and there was the highest attention to detail. Felt so great only seeing the result in the mirror at the end - a proper reveal!

I’ve followed Lidia around for the last 6 years. Best colourist I’ve come across and she’ll probably still be doing my hair when I’m 65. Love DKUK, always have a really relaxing experience, and great to look at art rather than yourself for 3 hours. Thank you thank you

Never used to be a fan of getting my hair cut as it made me really anxious. But the whole relaxing environment of DKUK changed that. Love getting my hair cut in front of art; love the feel of the natural hair products and most of all love the skilled, kind and attentive staff. Everyone is really kind and friendly, which is important to me as I am uncomfortable in salons generally. Also the quality of the cutting is really good - high quality stylists who give you confidence they know what they are doing.

I always go here for a haircut! Idi is very skilled and always nails what I’m asking for while also being super helpful and just all round great. I know I’m in safe hands whenever I get a haircut with her.

It was 9am & I wasn't yet awake. I was made most welcome as always by the lovely Idi, She remembers my hair style from previous visits. I cannot fault the finished result. I am human again.

I brought my daughter and Paula did my and my daughter's hair. She was excellent with my three years old and did a great job.

I really loved every moment of being there. Idi was attentive and gentle which I really appreciated and made me feel very at ease. I sometimes struggle to talk in salons due to my deafness so the lack of pressure made me feel way more comfortable than most salons i’ve been too in the past. I got the dreamiest mullet and it’s made me definitely want to return to DKUK again. The art works in the space were also very calming and helped create a lovely atmosphere.

Been at the salon yesterday for the first time and from arrival until i left the service was exceptional.
The team is super professional, the atmosphere is really nice and looking at artwork instead of a mirror made me feel so relaxed - a unique experience .
Paula helped me choose what hairstyle i wanted based on my figure and expectations and i made the big decision to cut my very long hair into a long bob ,decision i was super anxious to make for a very long time.
Years of growing my hair faded away in under one hour and i absolutely love that i made this choice.

I came back for a haircut as Paula saved my wedding day back in December with the most stunning last minute up do! She was so kind and listened to exactly what I wanted that of course I'd want her to cut my hair.

She is precise, takes her time and produced exactly what I wanted. She is fabulous. All the staff at DKUK are so lovely and welcoming and make you feel great for being there. The facilities are excellent and it's a really unique and relaxing experience.

I’ve wanted to get one of those short edgy haircuts (shaved side, long curls draping down the other side) for most of my life but been too afraid to do it. On a whim, I went to DKUK salon last week and met Paula. I immediately felt safe in her hands and knew that she wouldn’t let me walk out those doors looking anything but stylish. I was right to place my trust in her— I finally have the haircut of my dreams!!! I know it sounds cheesy but this cut did wonders for my self esteem and confidence— I couldn’t be happier with it. I will be returning to Paula at DKUK salon for the remainder of my time in London.

Calm vibes, pink uniforms and yolky sunsets I was in complete bliss at my last visit to DKUK. As a completely willing customer, there to treat myself after a pretty arduous term of teaching, I was upsold for a hydrating condition and an Indian head massage - I was up for it all and wasn’t disappointed. I’m completely chuffed with my new barnet and feel like I had a well needed and nourishing experience for myself. I cannot reccomend DKUK enough and Idi- great hair dresser, she makes you feel comfortable and is a wizard with those scissors. Thank you again

I was so lucky to get a hair cut two days before London’s Christmas lockdown. I have never liked hair dressers and avoided going. It was always a stressful experience. Dkuk is the opposite. It is always deeply relaxing. The atmosphere is calm and quiet. The lack of mirrors is a stroke of genius. Love having my hair cut by Idi.
