Great relaxing intensive Facial
Does anyone know where Luca is working now. He was brilliant but left. Not sure where he has gone. New barbers are not as good
Abel was excellent, haircut was perfect. Second time at the chair, first cut was fab. Lasted well for weeks which doesn't always happen.
Did back and shoulders waxing
Made me feel really comfortable and due to the skill of the staff I felt minimal amount of pain

Polite, conversational but not overbearing. The atmosphere combined with the relaxing approach to hair styling saw me begging to drift off asleep.
The hot towel and face moisturising is simply a much and the perfect way to pamper yourself.

It was my first time waxing and i had a great time and was surprised that the waxing was not as bad as i thought it would be and it went really quickly. The price was very decent and definitely coming back after 6 weeks. They done a amazing job. Thank you Genco

As a client of Genco from approx 2012 I was a slightly taken back by my most recent visit. I noticed on the online booking system that my regular stylist was no longer available along with other members of the team. Upon entering the salon there was no greeting creating a slightly awkward atmosphere. no drinks offered, no consultation about what I wanted to have done. Just overall an awkward and dropped service from what I’ve come to expect over the years. The actual cut itself was a more casual barbershop experience, my face was being touched by both hands and equipment cords which was uncomfortable. The water to wash my hair was scalding. as the atmosphere was silent in the salon and this was my first time in this new environment I did not feel comfortable to say anything. The stylist skipped the hot towel portion of the service. The leave was also uncomfortable. Overall Genco was a salon I depended on for quality service and experience but for some reason there has been a major dip in quality/ perhaps it was a bad day.

The therapist did a great job waxing my back and shoulders. Was fast and comfortable enough and very thorough
Came in for a quick clean-up and ended up spending £70
As they went through they had been giving me treatments without staying there would be an extra charges... this only became apparent at the end when they had already ‘done’ the work.
I also really wasn’t listened to, telling them not to use trimmers or touch certain parts of my hair and they did.
Lastly the whole ordeal took an hour and a half for a cut a barber could have done in 30 mins.
First and last visit.

Having grown my hair and beard for quite some time this was the first opportunity for both to be styled. Luca listened to what I attempted to describe (having visited only barbers for the last ten years) as what I was looking for and on both hair and beard, he understood well because he delivered exactly what I wanted!
Really very pleased with both outcomes and had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing time to get there!
