TONI&GUY Richmond are delighted to announce that through our recent refurbishment, this has enabled us to create the ‘ultimate salon experience’. Our stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice and create hair that is individual and easy to live with, interpreting fashion trends with versatile wearable styles.

Members of our Colour team hold the prestigious L’Oreal Colour Degree and the Wella colour expert, so your hair will be in safe hands with our technicians.

We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair and the Keratin Smoothing blow-dry. We offer natural and discrete grey blending for the gents who want to discretely blend away those grey hairs. Our wide range of haircare products include Label.m, Kerastase, GHD and SmartBond, everything you need to keep you and your hair looking fabulous.

Slow service and disappointment

I spent more time waiting around as hairdressers swapped and served other clients than actually being attended to for a cut and colour. Four hours later with a rushed finish and costing more than £200, I have been more satisfied using their academy than a full priced salon in Richmond.

The disappointment doesn’t stop there! I have used Toni and Guy for many years and had accumulated more than two books worth of stamps , yet the receptionist said I can’t claim it nor can I claim for this appointment either. Stamps that hold no loyalty value! I don’t think I will be returning here.

I had my colour done by Louise and cut and blow dry by August. Since coming to T&G Richmond in Feb this year, I have had the best results I can remember. I get more compliments about my hair since being a client than I have ever done and I’m 52.

Apprehensive about my haircut having been to the salon many years ago and was not satisfied. My friend who owns Toni & Guy Milan told me to give the Richmond salon another try since I may have had a bad one off experience. I am pleased to say that I was very satisfied this time around. Bad experience / rude stylist

I came in for a haircut on Sunday. I have been twice before to this salon and I have been pleased with the results. This stylist was rude from the get go. She was snappy and unfriendly. I felt uncomfortable in the chair and upset with the service. I asked for long layers and a tidy up. She cut short layers which touch my cheeks. She said I had damaged hair, dandruff, it’s a luxury to have blonde hair and my shampoo wasn’t good. I’m a 32 year old lawyer. I spend a decent amount on hair products and at the hairdressers. I always use a hair mask, heat protector spray and use designer shampoos. Yes, my hair needed a cut but I’ve never been told that I have dandruff or damaged hair. She made me feel disgusting. Going to the hairdressers is supposed to be a nice experience. The situation could have been dealt with better. I always wear my hair in a wavy style. She told me it had to be dried straight to see the layers. I’ve never been told this before. She rough dried it. Told me to put my head upside down to rough dry it. She didn’t apply any products or use a round brush. I was so upset with how short the layers were she said if I curled the front, I wanted to cry. They were not even either or blended. She tried to blend and said that they wouldn’t look so bad of curled, which she did to the front short pieces of hair. She was going to leave it at that and I asked if she could at least finish the rest. She made me feel uncomfortable and I came away feeling upset. Really not what you expect from a trip to get your hair done. It was absolutely not worth £60 and it wasn’t what you’d expect of a senior stylist. I would not come back.

Charged for add ons I didn't want

Sonia is a great colourist, but toni and guy encourages it's stylists to include add ons and not tell anyone the cost. Today I had colour bond for 35 and toner for 20. Surely colour services should include toner anyway, and the customer should be told the price of add ons, which we aren't. This happens all the time for hot towel service as well, and happens with all the stylists.

10/10!!!!! I came in with the worst hair possible, it was so damaged and a horrible colour from dying my hair (elsewhere) last year! After a great consultation with Louise, I had a full head of highlights using smart bond to protect my hair from further damage, she also recommended I cut off the dead hair and although I hate getting my hair cut, I took her advise and it was the best thing I ever did! The lovely Mellisa cut it and both the cut and haircut is brilliant and I really am so happy! They couldn’t have done a better job! The atmosphere is great and everyone is so friendly and lovely and I really enjoy the whole experience when I’m there!!!!! These guys are just great and I will never go off piste again!!!!!!
