TONI&GUY Richmond are delighted to announce that through our recent refurbishment, this has enabled us to create the ‘ultimate salon experience’. Our stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice and create hair that is individual and easy to live with, interpreting fashion trends with versatile wearable styles.

Members of our Colour team hold the prestigious L’Oreal Colour Degree and the Wella colour expert, so your hair will be in safe hands with our technicians.

We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair and the Keratin Smoothing blow-dry. We offer natural and discrete grey blending for the gents who want to discretely blend away those grey hairs. Our wide range of haircare products include Label.m, Kerastase, GHD and SmartBond, everything you need to keep you and your hair looking fabulous.

Second time in a time frame of a month I am disappointed. Despite finding the staff always friendly welcoming and nice, and ***** always does her best to fit me in like this last appointment, I find the stylists lacking the right attention required for what a customer wants the hair cut to be. Service wise I think there is no consistency. T&G happy to charge clients extortionate amounts of money without delivering the right service. For £60 I could at least have my hair washed after the hair cut! Very disappointed, I think it’s time to look for another hair stylists and professionals.

I am afraid about hairdressers!!
I am always disappointed because they are doing what they want and not what I want with giving me advises.

When I arrived in the shop I was stressed my hairs needed to be cut and I wanted to change and have short haircut .
Ellena took the time to seat with me and advise me. She cut step by step and was listening to me.. as a results this is the first time i am happy by my hair cut! I love it.

I was disappointed to find that my usual colorist had suddenly left and not left any notes, so we had to start again from scratch and colour isn’t as good as usual. Everyone there is lovely but I expect more from such a big company.

I did not have confidence that the stylist knew what she was doing, I did not feel relaxed throughout the cut based on the way it was being cut, very amateurish. I’m not a hairdresser but I know what it feels like to be in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing. At the hair wash she put very little conditioner in my hair (after I said I didn’t want a treatment) and so my hair felt very dry at the end and not the healthy shiny hair it usually it - the blow dry was haphazard and not finished well - there were kinks in bits. She was second guessing everything she was doing which just made me feel even less confident in her ability. Appreciate she is a junior stylist but I have had far better cuts from stylists her level before. And she was generally quite moody and rude, even rolled her eyes at me at one point. I was not asked by the receptionist how my appointment was, so I didn’t offer any feedback because to be honest by that time I just wanted out of the salon. I usually depend on T&G for a good, professional cut and overall experience but sadly it was not. I have visited this salon previously on a number of occasions and never has any issues before, so it’s a shame this person has let the standards slip.

An enquiry on hair up price is different at different time at the reception, making me lack of trust. What made the price different?
The mask is a bit of an overprice item.
Otherwise the hair cut skill is normal, it’s recommended if the price is more affordable.

I was uncertain about T&G but left very happy with the color and the service given. Very professional and attentive all the staff. Perhaps the music too loud in the salon. After a while you wish it was a little bit lower.

My hair was done by Jade, who isn’t on the name list. I thought she did an excellenf job, as usual, and I’m really pleased with it. It’s my first colour after my cancer treatment, and they took care of me to make sure I received the best treatment. They all made me feel very welcome, and they are a great team.

I went in to have a couple of inches off my hair as I thought it needed it, having not had a haircut since December. Rather than just doing it, Joe challenged me on the reason and said that it didn't need it, only the very ends doing.
He could have gone ahead anyway and taken the revenue but he didn't and instead helped me with some products that would hopefully do what I thought the haircut would do instead. Thanks Joe!

I was not happy at all with my blow dry. The hairdresser was running late and it was not dealt with well. Having 2 people blow drying your hair at the same time is not enjoyable especially when the results on one side are different to the other. And trying to be sold treatments and haircuts throughout the whole appointment is not what I was there for.

When I visited the Richmond salon in March, no-one had a clue as to the cost of the cut and colour. At first I was told it would be £120. After I said that this must be wrong, I was informed the cost was £115. Eventually, I paid £80, which was at least closer to the correct price. The receptionist was more concerned with making smart comments than charging the correct amount. I haven’t been back since, and don’t intend to return in the future.

Hair colour was lovely and the staff were also very welcoming, but I was disappointed at the result of my blow dry. The outer hair was straight but inside was all curly and looked like I done it myself. I do have wavy hair so maybe it was a difficult one but I’ve achieved better results in other Toni and guy branches so was dissapointed as it’s not a cheap price to pay.

I usuallly have Dee do my hair but she was not in today. I had a lot of colour all over my hairline on my skin, in my ears and on my neck. The salon manager and girl that did my blo dry and an assistant managed to scrub a lot of it off but I was not impressed that the hairline wasn’t prepped with any stain protector like it usually is by Dee before any colour is applied. The colourist did not apologise or seem to think he did anything wrong. He seemed to rush the colouring as he had other customers and I will not be booking with him again in the future. The salon manager was great and helpful and if it wasn’t for her kindness I wouldn’t be coming back again in the future.
