This was an unbelievable experience. Amanda is patience and clearly passionate about the job she does. She is precise in her approach and I feel very comfortable, allowing her to colour my hair for the first time in a long time. She has a lot of science knowledge behind what she does, and is happy to tell the client about that, and above all else. Jeremy cuts my mum's hair so I already knew he was a great hairdresser, and, having had a few unsatisfactory experiences at other salons over the years, I decided to let him loose on my feral tresses, not expecting much because my hair is disappointing on a good day, to say the least! But Jeremy is a miracle worker as well as an incredible stylist - we chatted and laughed like we'd known one another for years and any nerves I may have had about new salon, new hairdresser, unruly hair - all of it - just disappeared. Sorry Jeremy, I’m pleased with my haircut but after telling you that I didn’t want the straighteners on my hair, I never use them because I don’t like my hair poker straight. You still insisted on using them because of finishing the cut at the end of the blow dry.

For many years I have visited a hairdresser and then go home to rewash and style my hair after mediocre haircuts. That was until I visited Hobs and Jeremy cut my hair. Visiting the salon is something that I look forward to and he has cut and styled my hair beautifully. One very happy customer!
