Extension nightmare

Had paid around 1,000 GBP for a set of extensions that were completed in March. I had asked to place the bonds in a discreet way and so I can wear braids (leaving a gap in the back to cover the bonds). None of that was accomplished and the bonds were shedding hair quite bad. I went back to ask for a solution upon which the salon kindly offered to redo the set for free. During the consultation Christie was clearly frustrated and awkward although I was trying to mitigate her feelings by noting it is not her fault the keratine wasnt holding, probably a supplier issue. Her good intentions in cutting the pre keratined bundles in two may have been a reason as well, I could see her logic and we agreed to meet a week later for a redo.
During the second attempt for Christie to create a professional set of extensions, I once again noted I want the bonds to be discreet and I also asked her to please allocate more of my own hair to the bonds as I felt the extensions were too heavy on the small strands of my hair upon which she displayed aggression by remaining silent and making a face to this request. The bonds that were created are HUGE and are currently sticking out at the top of my head. The bonds stickyness has trapped other parts of my hair in them which means I cant brush it at all currently without pulling my own hair out. There is less hair added to this set, meaning a good chunk of the hair I paid for is simply lost.
I am taking photos and videos of the disaster assembly if anyone is curious to see how this work is anything but professional.
Taylor Taylor as an establishment is great and they have done all they can to mitigate for one persons repeated mistakes. At this point, I will not go back to TT to ask for help on this, I am having this set removed by a professional in a few days and I will need to absorb the financial damage and emotional distress caused by this. Taylor Taylor in terms of colouring and overall service remains an establishment I would recommend to my friends.

I booked in to have a big haircut going from long hair to a short cut for the summer. Lovely service, everyone was so friendly! Thank you so much to the massively talented Nick who listened to what I wanted, and was amazing at working through all my hair which took a long time to get through. I ended up with Tom by pure accident as I had written down the wrong time for my app and missed it by an hour. As I came in from outside of London, I was offered an alternative app with Tom. We had a great chat and although I was Tom‘s last client that day, he really took the time to listen to what I wanted and gave me some really great tips how to style my new bob. Very happy, will be going back.

I haven’t had a haircut for a long time and was looking for a good salon to cut my hair as I’ve had difficulty in the past. I chose Tom as he mentioned in his profile he was a precision cutter, something I was looking for. Tom was polite and cut my hair very well and I’m very pleased with the hair cut. However, Tom isn’t a chatty Director, I had little conversation with him. Everyone else in the salon who were getting their haircut sounded like they had a much better experience. Their stylists were chatty, it was a bubbly lively atmosphere that was going on around me but in my experience it was mostly silence throughout the hair cut. Now I understand that some people have no interest in having conversations with customers like having to hear a life story, or where you work etc but I felt disappointed that I didn’t get the true haircut experience that I have had in the past, which I prefer.

I always have a great experience at Taylor Taylor Shoreditch. I don’t usually enjoy getting my hair cut, but I genuinely enjoy going to Taylor Taylor as the staff are warm and welcoming, cocktails delicious and my haircut is always great!

Very disappointed I wish I didn’t go

I had it done at ********** **** by the ********. He was very nice etc so nothing on him personally, but I hate the haircut. I only went in for a trim and was very direct about what I wanted but I was talked into taking at least 2 inches off my hair, and I was given layers which I didn’t ask for. I also asked for shaping round the front but all he seemed to do was take a big chunk out of each side and make it look like a block of hair and not even blend it into the longer bits so it looks stupid. I thought I loved it when I left because he took a look of time styling it but after I had a shower I realised it was the worst haircut I’ve ever had and it cost £85. I’m never going back I feel like crying if I’m honest. I don’t usually leave reviews but yeah very upset.

Bad blow dry

Honestly I was so disappointed. I booked in for a blow dry for a big event I was going to. I wanted a lovely blow dry with a bit of a wave - something chic and understated. Instead I got my hair tonged into what I could only describe as bad bridesmaid hair. It looked incredibly dated and I had to go home and brush the whole thing out and re-do it myself.

Jordan did a great colour. Ireally loved the finished look. Then he and Hanna used a diffuser at the end to bring put a natural curl and relaxed beach look which I loved. My hair felt light and fun. It brought joy and that's the best feeling

I like a high quality haircut with a little twist - it can be a challenge finding the right hairdresser but Tom got it exactly. A structured, precision bob with some unexpected detailing, easy to wash and dry and always looks the part no matter which way the wind is blowing. YES!
