Very pleased with my haircut at MG. Finally found a hairdresser who knows how to cut a trendy style.
I was, literally, dreading trying out a new hairdresser (albeit upon the recommendation of a family member) - because, in the past, I’ve done this and it’s been far from satisfactory. The reason for my quest to do this again is because the hairdresser I’ve been extremely happy with for 36 years has now moved to Brighton and this means he’s only in the West End on every other Thursday........ and I believe that it won’t be long before he chooses not to continue working in London. Anyway, I admired the style of the person whose hair was extremely well cut, she recommended Helen at MG Hairdressing and I took a chance today. I needn’t have worried - Helen was very professional, she “listened” to my concerns, did as I asked (and, more importantly, didn’t merely pay lip service to me!). She was professional enough to be honest in her remarks and suggestion that I consider making some changes to the style I have and some adaptations to it once I’d built up my confidence in her...... this immediately instilled trust in her! It’s a bit of a “silly lady” thing, and I almost feel stupid, taking into account the serious stuff going on in the world, that how important, relatively, is the anxiety over choosing a new stylist.... however, I’m particularly fussy about the way my hair is cut in order to achieve the “contrived messy look” that I’m happy with.... I came out of the salon very happy and relieved and will certainly be going back to MG Hairdressing. Perhaps more men could understand and appreciate the fear of changing hairdressers!
Melissa did an absolutely amazing job cutting my hair exactly what I wanted! Amazing service at the salon very welcoming.
My first visit and very friendly staff and atmosphere. All the staff I dealt with listened to what I wanted and looked after me well. Definitely will be visiting them again.
My experience was very pleasant because I was greeted very politely everyone was really nice they offered to take my coat and make me a drink, I also knew two workers there so it was nice

I've been going to MG for 3 years now. I'm Always A Happy Girl when I leave the salon. My hairdresser, Laura is a good listener and she is honest when it comes to advising me about my hair. I like her as a person and as a hairdresser. The rest of the staff is friendly and helpful.

This is my first trip to MG Hair after experiencing 'hair disasters' at a leading high street salon. Laura was excellent, listened to what I wanted and was also very patient with my wriggly 2 year old when she was getting her hair done!

I had my hair coloured by Lisa and the cut and blow dry by Melissa. It was all fabulous. From the outset, when they both sat with me to discuss what I was going to have, right through to the final result. Definitely recommend!

I have really long hair and always feel like a burden when I go to the hairdressers due to the thickness and length - it takes a lot of time. Ana does my hair quickly, efficiently, and gets it perfect every single time. Couldn't recommend Ana any more - she's the absolute best.

Would not price the service I received or the cut I got at £29. I have patches on my hair and pieces of my hair sticking out where it shouldn't be. Currently now in a very bad mood as I have to attend a birthday party like this, and it makes matters worse when I know I paid £30 for it.

The hairdresser was in a rush as another client had arrived earlier than expected. She didn't even bother to cut hair on the neck or use a mirror to show if all is fine. No hair was removed from the clothing. Ridiculous service
