Feel like my whole afternoon was wasted. My very long hair appointment went from 1-5:40pm.
I asked for a warm honey blonde, but the colour came out ashy-pink. **** argued with me, insisting she had used the colour recorded in my notes, despite the notes saying "next time make it warmer". I showed her the colour swatch I wanted, and the colour swatch matching my new hair colour, by holding both swatches against my hair, and she continued to insist that she had done the correct colour, despite it clearly not looking like the warm blonde swatch. Her colleague, the lass who cut and blowdried my hair, kept telling Sophia to "just redo it". Which she eventually did.
When it came to the cut and blowdry I asked for waves, and mentioned my back was soaked and needed drying The hairdresser said she would do both, but in the end, did neither.
She was also going to use hair thickener, and said she had, but my hair looked more flat than when I walked in.
I think everyone just wanted to go home at about 4.30 because they turned off the music while I was having my hair washed and toned. At 5pm I asked them to turn it back on for me.
After I paid, -having not been offered any reduction for the experience-, the lady at the til asked my daughter if she "liked her grandma's new hairdo".
Normally I have a good experience at HOB, but on this occassion I didn't feel like I got value for money.
