My first visit to this salon as my usual one is temporarily closed. I was very impressed with the stylist. I consider
my to be quite difficult to get right but she did a great job. My hair wash was also very good so I’m happy.

You may think that someone who is bald never needs a haircut but you will be wrong. Although my forehead and cranium are depleted I still grow a lot of unruly hair from my occipital region that can cover my shirt collar. I also have sideburns that misbehave. Every 6 weeks I start looking like a vagrant rough sleeper. Then Simon B comes to the rescue and takes 10 years off my appearance so much so that the customer in the next chair recognised me as having been her tutor in medical school 50 years ago. I thought that was a compliment but Simon B said that all it means I was as hideous then as I'm now. Furthermore, he denied me my usual dram of fine malt to steady my nerves. I think I'll have to change my barber.
