It was my first time and I absolutely loved the experience. I was treated with a lot of care and attention and the result was better than I expected

Darren always colours and cuts my hair to PERFECTION!! His professional knowledge and passion for hair and colouring shines through, and he always gives me the best advice for my hair. He has been my stylist for as long as I can remember and I wouldn't let anyone else touch my hair.
The staff at Esente are always so welcoming and professional.
Thanks to Scarlet for her care and attentiveness while washing my hair in their very relaxing massage chairs.
Their Kevin Murphy products always leave my hair smelling and looking fantastic. Thank you :)

When you walk into Esente Salon you can forget all your worries and your strifes. Everything is designed for you to relax the colour scheme the light the flowers and the privacy in the shampoo area. Of course hair dressing is impeccable :-)

Very prompt service and Joe was as ever warm friendly. Perfect blow dry and smoothing products plus lovely head massage.. Fab new decor.

Becky did my highlights and Darren my cut/ restyle. Both were amazing. The process of Becky packing in the foils is like an amazing robot…incredible speed and efficiency. Then Darren applied the toner to exactly the right timing so no yellow nor purple just perfect blonde. Then he cut my hair with his amazing, newly sharpened Japanese scissors with such confidence in changing my ridiculously neglected hair!
As always I had a great experience and at such short notice. I went in this morning to ask for an appointment and they managed to make room in between others as they saw I was desperate! So grateful, thank you all.

Thank you Joe for cutting and styling my hair for free at Esente Hairdressers under the Hair Reborn charity. I certainly feel my hair is reborn after my haircut and styling today which made my chemo curls look glamourous and my confidence increase. Before discovering Hair Reborn , I was very low about my chemo hair and not knowing anyone who could help who had the right expertise. Hair Reborn helped raise my morale and sorted my hair out beautifully to include an amazing free hairwash with head massage on a relaxing massage chair and top professional haircutting and styling. Joe is a brilliant hairdresser with excellent knowledge of chemo hair. Joe provided me with lots of amazing tips and I walked out of the salon with a huge smile and lots of positive energy. Hair Reborn and Joe really make an impact and I am so glad I discovered Hair Reborn. Thank you so much and Frankie for her wonderful hair wash and massage and lovely customer service.

Darren really enjoyed getting my shaggy short cut back into shape!( after 8 weeks growth) You know you are onto a winner, when such an experienced stylist still takes such pride in rescuing your hair!

I have been getting my hair done at Essente on Leopold road for a few years now! Becky is fantastic! She is very meticulous and creates amazing colour combinations. She always remembers my hair and how I like it cut and styled. The salon has a lovely relaxed environment and everyone is very friendly.

This was my 3rd visit, and I have to say, that it continues to be an excellent experience. Darren is highly experienced and skilled, and my hair hasn’t looked or felt better. I will continue to come back.

Darren’s passion for his work shines through every time ( and with me it’s been 21 years of hair cuts with him!)… he still gives me a consultation every time even though I’m sure he could cut with his eyes closed at this stage . He’s an expert excellent hair stylist on all counts and one of the nicest guys . This salon in general is top class and is a friendly calm environment. See you guys next time . Thank you ?

Essente has got to have the best atmosphere of any hair dressing salon I have ever been to and that includes west end Salons. They’re ultra efficient always have time to discuss hair styles, colour etc without rushing. And they have all round great staff who are all extremely friendly and helpful at all times. I can’t recommend them enough.

Joe is such a caring gentleman as well as his team and they are quite simply the best. This wonderful charity that Joe and his wife Lina have created Hair Reborn is such a good cause for cancer patients whose hair is affected by cancer treatment and they need all the publicity and support to keep them going. Quite simply Hair Reborn and Joe make a huge impact in the lives of cancer patients whose hair has never been the same as a result of chemotherapy. I wish Joe and Lina all the success in the world with this good cause . Darren spent a long time talking through what I wanted and why my previous haircut had not worked out as I had hoped. He was very clear about what he felt needed to happen and why and talked me through each stage of the cut whilst also advising about suitable products for my hair type.
