I'm so grateful I found Diana! She is a wizard with colour, it always looks so natural and classy and every cut has been gorgeous even when we try something new. She just gets me and I trust her completely, and believe me I'm fussy! I had so many epic hair fails with different hair dressers in London until I finally found her. I love the salon and all the staff are so friendly and easy going. Its always a pleasant and relaxing experience :)
Had the most amazing experience at The Villager hair salon , my stylist Diana gave me the best colour and cut I’ve ever had , after I wrecked my hair with a home dye during lockdown, the result was phenomenal, I didn’t think that my hair can be saved , thank you so much , you have me for life !!!

I am very pleased with my hair style.
I went with my two kids ( 5 and 2 years old) to the salon as I didnt have any other option. I went there ready with snacks which don't make mess, games, toys. And my phone as the last option which I had to use. Everyone working there was incredibly patient and lovely with them. Of course I was constantly checking on them and standing up and down to help them sit back or anything they would need. And I was telling them all the time of course thanks for being that nice with us.
The kids weren't bad but they are kids anyway. They weren't statues either. They were getting up and down the chair a couple of times.. touching a dog it was there they offered them to give him a stroke... anyway.
They were all lovely and helpful and patient. What ashame just one woman who works there, randomly said to me in a very rude way that the straighteners were 100£ (when they were next to my son and he didn't even look at them or touch them at all)
To start with i thought she was just letting me know to be careful so I said to her thanks and don't worry they were off. And she said its because it's a 100£ straighteners in a very rude way and walked off.
I was so shocked to talk to me that way and also without a reason. The straighners were there as many other things...they didn't even try to touch them. They were watching peppa pig holding my hand at that point.
The hairdresser who was cutting my hair was sooo so lovely and very perfectionist. Patient, good professional, sweet. And she did a great job.
Sadly very disappointed the way my hair has been thinned out. In all the years I’ve always had it evenly thinned out from top to bottom. This time it feels like too much was taken from the bottom and not much from the top. Result was exactly what I didn’t want. My hair doesn’t fall straight down but does a funny round shape on the top due to more hair. Anyway just have to wait for it to grow back properly.
Always a good cut from Diana and a friendly atmosphere.

Thoroughly enjoyed my blow dry at the Villager Salon. One of the best blow dry's ive had! My hair is frizzy and can be difficult but it was done very thorough and i was very happy with it! Will be back again and would recommend!
As always a very good experience. Jade is doing well but still a bit gentle and ‘untidy’ when doing a blow dry. The results she achieves are good but I wish she were more definite in her actions. Amy, as ever, a total star c

This place is what I call SERVICE - from the moment you walk in until you leave. The whole experience was just amazing and everyone is so nice and friendly. And ofcourse my lovely Macedonian queen Alex, she is the best, not everyone can deal with my hair, but for her it's just a piece of cake!

Just paid my first visit to The Villager for a lovely blow dry with Aleksandra and pleasantly surprised to find a lovely local salon. Really pleased with my hair and the vibe is very relaxed and friendly. Gorgeous natural scented products and complimentary drinks are a nice touch too. I will definitely be back!

This is my third visit to the salon , with Alex as my stylist ! I’m quite new to the area and have tried a couple of other places, but the Villager is head and shoulders above the rest ! Their customer service is super, you are made to feel extremely welcome , it’s more of a social event than a cut and blow dry ! Great teamwork! Happy Salon

I had the misfortune of taking my 8 year old for a haircut. The stylist was not able to understand the simple haircut I wanted for my child.After showing her numerous photos of the haircut, she reluctantly cut the hair, but still different to how I had asked her. When I asked for it to be done the way i’d been asking, she huffed and told me off. After taking a few breaks, decided to walk out. I didn’t know what was happening. Another hairdresser took over saying The previous one had to go home. This hairdresser was brash, rude, losing her temper at me in-front of my child when I asked her to cut from a place she had left out, warning me not to touch the hair while she cut. She aggressively began chopping my child’s hair, was dismissive of anything I said. Then to my surprise the previous one came back! It seemed she had walked out on my child’s hair cut but hadn’t actually gone home.
I felt angry and frustrated, they all kept commenting, oh she has really thick hair-like that was something wrong with my child for which she had to be punished. When I reluctantly went over to pay, (to not make a scene in front of my child) they doubled the already expensive haircut from £15.90 to £36.00. I found the sudden price increase insult over injury. I was fuming but kept my cool and said I didn’t know that. I ended up paying £15.90 but was warned that next time I wouldn’t be charged any less than £36.00!
I am all for supporting local businesses but I would rather go much further and not be met with contempt and rude behaviour, than be subjected to complete torture at the hands of such unprofessional, brash and incompetent hair stylists.
This was my first visit to this Salon, still... I was given a perfect haircut.
The welcome is so sweet, head massage is more than relaxing and Diana is a hell of a stylist.
Great conversation too!

Had a wonderful experience at this Salon! The guys who work there are so lovely and they take so much pride in their work and the salon. Aleksandra did my hair exactly how I asked for! So spot on! The details in the service was also amazing, such as the cucumber in my water or the complimentary fruit and chocolate biscuit. The staff honestly makes sure everyone enjoys their experience at The Villager Hair Salon. Love it
