I've been going to Anthony's for years. Friendly and efficient service. I always get my hair washed before and after the cut. I'm always offered a drink and a hot towel. My kids also raid the fruit bowl when they come. All the team are very accommodating, last time my kids attended they even got ice lollies off Kelly :)

Always a good cut and finish, just the way I like my hair. Relaxing visit as always and some laughter too.

Kelly, I just wanted to say a big thank you! My little girl absolutely loved her hair cut! You were brilliant with her. We’ve been to places before where my children have been rushed through their appointments with no particular care. Antony’s could not be further from that. I highly recommend and just the little touch of curling her hair to finish made her day.

I have been going to Antony’s Hair Salon on and off for 20 years and never came away feeling as disappointed as I did on Wednesday. I arrived on time for my 1.30pm appointment and told to take a seat in the waiting area. 20 minutes later the stylist appears and explained she was running late and would be 10 minutes. I said okay, understood that delays happen, 20 minutes later I was taken to a chair. The stylist had just dealt with a very difficult customer who wasn’t happy and seemed quite upset herself but proceeded to ask me what I wanted and remained professional, however, was clearly worked up but expected to move straight on to me. She then did some highlights and roots (which I have had done at the salon on many occasions) in approx 2 and a half hours, however, understood that it might take slightly longer as she is a junior stylist. What I didn’t expect was to be left sitting in the chair while she did 2 cut and blow drys on other customers. It wasn’t until a senior stylist pointed out that I had been sat there for ages after the timer had gone off. she said she didn’t know what to do as she was with another client. The senior stylist washed off my colour. I think it is absolutely ridiculous to overbook a junior stylist with so many appointments. I was then left for ages with a toner on. I certainly did not feel heard or special as your website claims to hope clients will feel. 4 hours and 15 minutes later (no cut) in what should have taken 2 and a half to 3 hours max). I was then late for picking my son up from an after school activity. I have been left with highlights that have been left on for far too long and my hair is dried out and frizzy. I do not think this would have happened if my stylist had been offered more support and practical hands on help from other stylists and been overbooked. Sadly, there doesn’t seem to be much team morale in the salon anymore and juniors do not appear to receive the full training required in a supportive environment.

After a bad colour and cut at another salon, Ellie managed to fix my hair and gave me lots of advice on what I need going forward to get my desired look. She also did the smoothest blow dry I’ve ever had, with having curly frizzy hair it’s very rare that a stylist can get my hair sleek and straight without using hair straighteners but Ellie did it with ease. Looking forward to my next appointment

Had my hair coloured with the free after 3 offer which is excellent value for money. Eleanor as always was very professional and attentive and provided an excellent hair cut which received compliments from other customers before I had even left the salon. Would highly recommend Eleanor and the salon

Decided to go for a lighter colour. Kelly was a great help in advising me on what would suit me and my hair. I’m really pleased with how it turned out.

Great service through out appointment, very talkative, absolutely in love with my hair , I’ve got Afro hair and she gave me the best blow dry I’ve ever had my hair is pokerdot straight !!

I have switched from a much cheaper salon because I didn't trust them to cut my hair well. Being delighted with my cut, I booked in to get my roots done. Very pleased with the experience. Carlo has a gentle, calm demeanor. He was mindful not to knock my freshly pierced, sore ears.

This is a very nice, upscale salon. I buy products like K18 and Moroccanoil from their extensive range of high-end haircare lines.
