I went in without an appointment and Melissa was so accommodating and took on the challenge. I'd not had a haircut for quite some time and had very long and thick hair. Despite being busy, she took the time to listen to me and endeavoured to give me the best haircut I needed.
I have very limited time for my hair after the birth of my LO and was desperate to have my previous hair glory back but with minimal maintenance. She listened and was able to do this for me. The first stylist I feel that ever truly listened to my needs. It's been a few months now and I still enjoy this haircut so much.

So many wasted trips to the salon with every hairdresser telling me my hair couldn't withstand a wolf cut.
But these ladies made it happen - nothing was too much trouble, very warm and welcoming. Brilliant experience from start to finish.

Gem was fantastic, really looked after me and was able to make my hair look loads better, Gem was very knowledgeable about different hair types and styles.

I arrived and was offered a cup of tea, which was lovely! I had the wonderful Ady today and she couldn't have been lovelier! Really caring and actually makes you feel like she wants to talk and listen to you!

Came today with my son, Riley, age 11 who has additional needs to get his hair cut and styled for his year 6 prom next week. I had already talked about how h can be and his needs etc in a previous appointment. Aneeqa was absolutely brilliant with him, she asked him relevant questions, gave time for him to respond and provided him with lots of information (which he always needs) Thank you for your understanding and patience, Riley loves his hair ??

Good consultation at the start to discuss colour for foils. Made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Felt like adee knew exactly what she were doing and I loved the results!! I also had Sophie helping out whilst there was another client and I felt they worked so well together. I was very happy with the end result.

I have been going to Melissa Jane's, for quite a few years now and I can honestly say I will not go elsewhere. It is my go to place, to receive excellent service the warmest of welcomes I have ever had , the professional manner in which you are treated as a client, the honesty you receive for your service, the cleanliness of the building and above all else the feeling of walking tall with knowing how amazing your hair is on your way out. Nothing is too much trouble for them, the atmosphere of the salon is just 1 big happy family, you walk in a stranger on your 1st visit but you leave with gorgeous hair, a big smile and a warm heart ❤️ knowing you have just made new friends and found the perfect salon for all of your pampering needs.

Chloe has taken my hair from almost black to the light grey I wanted today. It has been a process but i am delighted with the cut and colour. Chloe has gone beyond what I thought we could achieve.

Sophie is a lovely talented hairdresser. She is very attentive and listens to exactly what you ask for and delivers above and beyond. As for the salon experience it’s amazing. Aide nipped out for some lunch for me and I was also permitted to work from my laptop whilst having my hair done. Absolutely win win

Adee was fabulous, I had a lovely salon experience today. I have seen her around the salon multiple times during past appointments and she’s always been so warm and welcoming to everyone. Adee took her time and I didn’t feel like I was being rushed at all, I love how my hair turned out. The most friendly and bubbly stylist, I really enjoyed my appointment today and look forward to future appointments with Adee!

I’ve been coming to Melissa Janes for years I’ve met the most amazing people as a client whilst being at this hairdressers. . I have can say they never fail to make my hair look and feel amazing. Mel and the team are the best in the business. The guidance and amazing job that everyone does is beyond words I could never thank you guys enough for the work that you all put in especially with my crazy colour corrections. Chloe has managed in just two appointments to get my black hair to almost the grey I wanted. It is a process but she has worked wonders for me. Great attention to detail and nothing has been too much trouble. Very professional and informative every step of the way. I am looking forward to the end result but I have been happy with the outcome after each appointment. I have never left an appointment until she was happy that she had done all she could on each occasion.Would highly recommend.
