Gorgeous independent salon. Chris is a fabulous stylist, never feels rushed, great attention to detail. I travel half way across Manchester to get my hair done by him!

Jayne has been my hairdresser now for some years and I can always rely on her expertise to make my thin hair look as good as it can do. Jayne is always willing to tailor my ideas to something that isn't going to wreck my hair and I am always grateful that she leads me to a happy hair doo! She always works her magic and I leave the salon feeling great. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks Jayne, you are a star!

Going to see Jayne is like going to see an old friend but with the added benefit of coming out with amazing hair! The salon looked gorgeous for Christmas but still had all the covid safety aspects to keep you at ease.

I've written previous reviews ...loyal customer to a loyal salon but thought it important to write an update outlining that this remains to be the same 2 years since first going to Bows and Brushes ...I followed Chris who had been my hair for 3 years and Donna prior to him (for 4 years) ..both work at Bows and Brushes now

I’ve been going to Jayne and the team at Bows & Brushes for years now; they’ve seen my hair through many a transformation from bleach to virgin hair, pixie crops to growing back out (and back again!), they always know exactly what I want and precisely how to achieve it! I’ll never go anywhere else!

As usual Donna was her usual professional self. Already made my next appointment just before Christmas.

I had ana amzing time at the salon, I couldn't be happier. It was so friendly and comfortable. I did keratin for the first time and I absolutely love my hair. Chris was very thorough, professional, and very informative, answering all my questions and giving me tips. I left with a big smile on my face and i will definitely go back again

Chris has been my hairdresser for a few years now and I totally trust him, he’s fab, I’ve got difficult to handle hair and now the greys have started to take over but Chris always makes it look amazing! There’s an art I think to colouring grey hair and Chris being a colour expert makes me totally relaxed. There’s a lot to be said for feeling comfortable and relaxed when you’re getting your hair done and I always look forward to my visits to Bows and Brushes - top hairdresser at a top salon. Chris always does an amazing job with my hair. I do have problem hair as it’s so thin and weak. I decided to go for a daring pixie cut as a bold step on my journey to embracing grey hair. I didn’t sleep the night before my appointment but needn’t have worried. Chris has created exactly the haircut I’d only dared hope for. My hair actually looks thicker than it has for years. Every time I visit Bows and Brushes it always lifts my mood - Charlotte and the team are so skilled in what they do I couldn't recommend them enough. But it's more than that - sure you get an excellent hair cut but you also get to have a natter with someone that remembers your stories and takes time to ask how things are!

Brilliant haircut!

Amazing! Jayne asked about my long term goals for my hair were and then cut it in a way that would ensure it will look good as I grow it. It was styled into beautiful ringlets and even specific sulphate free products were used when washing it, which fits it with what I do at home. Can't recommended highly enough!

I always enjoy the few hours at Bowes & Brushes. Jayne always spends time going through what I want and then advising what's best for my hair given its health status at that point but generally working something in along the lines of what I want or we work towards. Always giving the best advice for my type of fine hair.
