I bounced around salons for years trying to find a stylist that delivered what I envisioned. All that stopped when I found Bows and Brushes! Not only are Jayne and the team top quality stylists/colourists they are genuinely lovely human beings who make you feel like a friend as well as a customer from the minute you walk in. The salon is a pink and rose gold dream too ? Like a little pamper trip ever visit!

I’ve known Jayne for 8 years now and would never go anywhere else. She knows my style, my hair type and my mood! Can always count on a great cut and amazing service. Feel very safe during the pandemic and it’s a pleasure to be a customer

I’ve been a Bows and Brushes customer since opening (and Jayne was my stylist before that). The service is always amazing and Charlotte is amazing with colour. My hair is dark brown naturally and throws up loads of warmth when it’s bleached but Charlotte always manages to achieve the ashy or even silver tones that I’m after and the cut is always absolutely on point.

The salon is also lovely, especially after it’s recent renovation and all the other staff are so friendly. I always look forward to my visits.

This salon is just fantastic. The atmosphere and overall ambiance is amazing given the times we are living in. As a healthcare practitioner I was very impressed with the hygiene and social distancing measures. Jayne took time to consult about what I wanted and I was delighted with the result. I have received numerous compliments since! Thanks to all the Bows & Brushes team ?

Charlotte has been doing my hair for over a year now-the best colour and cut I’ve ever had! Charlotte is professional, warm, friendly, thoughtful and really takes an interest in her client’s lives-as well as being an amazing hair technician. My visits to Bows and Brushes are like visiting old friends...we have laughed (a lot!!), cried and been together through thick and thin! Excellent service and treatment as usual. A relaxing and pick me up therapy at this difficult time . Nothing is too much trouble..he always has time and he has that personal touch . Hope it's open for Christmas. The new decor is fabulous

Chris is an amazing stylists .I was hoping for a change, but wasn’t sure what I really want and what that change looks like. He had a detailed conversation with me , and gradually we got to the final plan. I love the rich shades of brown Autumn colours, and love the cut.
The Salon also felt very safe , everyone was wearing appropriately PPE and they had protective screens

Had an appointment at BOWS & BRUSHES hair salon earlier this week. As always the experience was both professional and caring. Felt completely safe during this Covid era. So pleased with my new colour and fabulous cut. Would definitely recommend this salon.

I followed Chris from his previous salon and can say nothing but positive things about his work. Bows and Brushes itself is uber friendly, charming and welcoming without fault.

The service provided is excellent , professional and all delivered in a stylish yet un pretentious way.

I’ve been going to Chris for almost 20 years to have my hair highlighted and cut. Even when I moved 4 hours away for 6 years, I always travelled back to Manchester to see Chris. Any other hairdressers always disappointed me! You won’t find another hairdresser who is more knowledgable on colour or has more attention to detail. I would highly recommend Chris and guarantee if you visit him once, you won’t go anywhere else!
