Loved my experience at the salon today. Scott did an amazing job.
After growing my hair for nearly two years, it was finally time for the chop. Any worries I had about going for such a different look disappeared in an instant. Scott was so knowledgeable and kept me involved every step of the way.
I left with an amazing pixie cut, feeling a million dollars and hopefully, one little girl will soon be sporting a new wig courtesy of the Little Princess Trust.
It was an absaloute pleasure i am so glad yopu are happy with the result. looking forward to seeing you in the salon for ur next trim

I really wanted to add some blonde to my hair but didn’t think it would work because it’s so naturally dark. Gareth worked wonders and I’m totally in love with my new colour, he really worked alongside me the whole process to make sure I was happy with my colour. Would definitely recommend the salon.

Needed to grab an appointment at short notice ... My usual guy busy so I took a chance with Scott. Very happy with his stylish cut I have quite short hair and some cutters just don’t get it .... but Scott did!

Levi was very nice. Hate to complain. Have been visiting Didsbury T&G for a number of years and have always been pleased with the service.
For some reason the colours appear to have been changed. For the second time I am disappointed with my colour.. I would have complained in the salon again but it was very late and Levi was having her own hair done. I had arranged to meet my partner. My partner says I now have silver hair like an old lady. This was definitely not my intention. The colour at the roots doesn’t even match the rest of my hair.. And I paid nearly £50. Not happy. My initial concerns have been completely disregarded it seems.

I can only apologise for your experience in the salon.
Regarding the colour, we are very sorry that you aren’t happy. Wella have recently changed their formula and this could possibly be the reason which was discussed in your previous appointment, the new Wella formula may not be suitable for your hair type. We would be happy to source the original product for you.
The lady who did your hair was called Evie, you were originally booked in with Levi, but was moved to Evie because you were running behind for your appointment, we accommodated for this for you. Evie had actually finished work as she was on a early but had said that she would help out so we didn’t have to turn you away.
Please contact the salon so we can arrange something for you, if you ever have any concerns, we are always happy to help and come up with a solution no mater how late on in the day. It is our aim that all of our clients leave happy and feeling great.

I have recently moved to the Didsbury area and I thought it was about time I found a local hair salon (rather than driving the 1h30m journey home to Yorkshire for my usual hair cuts). I was undergoing quite a dramatic colour change - from blonde balayage to red. I was quite nervous and was putting a lot of trust in a new salon & new hair dresser - I had no reason to worry at all! The service was exceptional and Gareth was very friendly and attentive. I had my hair cut by Gaz afterwards and both of them really listened to what I actually wanted and gave their honest opinions which was much appreciated. I couldn't be happier with my new look! I am so very happy I took the risk. The salon has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and I felt totally at ease the whole time. I will definitely be returning - so happy to have found a local hair salon I can trust! Thank you!

As with my colour, I will go nowhere else for my cut. Scott is an expert stylist and always makes recommendations about my style and cut that really suit. He always cuts my hair beautifully and leaves it looking stylish and healthy.

Charlotte was cutting my hair tie the first time. She was very helpful with advice and really listened to me about my preferences an info on the quirks of my hair! I have never been so happy with and received so many compliments on my hair colour. Gareth is an expert in lifting Asian hair and has taken me from the darkest brown / almost black to an ashy blonde balayage whilst keeping my hair healthy and happy. His professionalism and expertise are so reassuring and have kept me coming back for years, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my locks. Everyone at this salon is so polite and friendly. And a special shoutout to Gaz, who finally convinced me to get a haircut (they terrify me) and was so patient and kind; my hair looks so much healthier now. I left the salon today feeling absolutely wonderful. Thank you!

My appointment started late, due to a previous client. Was not happy with cut as it was not finished! Rushed cut then no finishing after hair dye. Exceptionally disappointed today!

Sorry to hear you were disappoined with your experience with us. You arrived for your 9:40 appointment on time - thank you. You then asked if you could leave the salon and (pop back) at 9:50 which resulted in your appointment falling behind.
On your request, the hair cut was done before the colour. Your hair had been washed. cut, blown, personalised and finished prior to the colour being applied. Once the colour was complete, your hair was washed, blown and styled by our Salon Director.
We would suggest when booking future appointments, the colour should be booked in before the cut.
If you have any concerns about the finished result, please feel free to call the salon and speak to us directly and we can arrange for you to come back in and have one of our salon Art Director's look at your hair.
