Lauren is an extremely nice stylist and very anxious to get your the that you want it, checking frequently if the cut.is going the way that you want it. This was my first time with Lauren but l have booked another appointment before the premises as l was so impressed.

Harriet really listened to what I wanted whilst recommending what would work well with my hair. Great experience and a lovely salon, thank you!

Really friendly and patient, understood how to suggest what would complinent my current maintenance regime. Encouraged me to come back to her if I have any new ideas or different colours to what we discussed in my consultation so she can adjust this to my appointment.
Nice and clean store, ask if she could handle my hair before touching which was nice. Very friendly and welcoming.

As usual, Connor showed me respect and consideration. I enjoyed chatting with Connor while he carefully styled my hair. I left the salon feeling uplifted and was pleased with the way my hair felt and looked.

Harriet done my hair colour today and totally aced it. My hair was very dark brown and i wanted to go lighter to blend greys easier. Harriet talked me through every part of the process and im so happy with the result. She has managed to blend my hair fantastically and with every care and attention of a great hairdresser . Harriet was very friendly and professional. She took time to make sure she understood what I wanted and gave advice to help me make a final decision. The colour and cut are great and I’m very happy. It’s a shame that refreshments such as coffee still aren’t being offered but I was offered a bottle of water. Hopefully Covid restrictions easing will allow the return of hot drinks etc in the future.

I’ve been having my hair cut by Peter for 17 years. He is very good, that’s why I keep going back! All the staff make you feel very welcome.

Rebecca is a genius! I’m always know that she will make my hair look amazing and I genuinely look forward to chatting with her about anything and everything. I’d highly recommend rebecca for cutting or colouring. ( Although maybe I should keep her the best kept secret!!).

Kylie is simply amazing! Dry friendly and approachable. We spoke about what I wanted to achieve and she advised the on the best way to do it. She gave me the perfect haircut, better than I imagined and styled it beautifully. Absolutely love my hair.

As always Mark is the consummate professional delivering a bespoke service in a friendly and enormously respectful manner. I always come out of Box feeling a million dollars with a fantastic cut colour and blow dry! Every member of staff I come across from the most senior to the most junior, is always friendly, polite and respectful. Well done Mark and Pete for nurturing such a fantastic team!

Box is constantly excellent and that’s outstanding for any business

I called in to get my hair coloured and cut. The receptionist expressly asked if it was my first time with them. It was as I just moved in to Basingstoke and was looking for a new hairdresser. Details given, booking confirmed for a cut and colour & the babysitter booked to look over the little one. Yeyy!! Some “me” time!! Got there, sat down just to be told that actually I need to be tested first in order to get my hair coloured and it won’t be coloured on the same day. I’ve been bleaching & toning my hair for over 14 years, no one has tested me in a hairdresser salon. What are you guy’s using?!?! The stylist was more interested in finding out with whom I spoke over the phone!! Ruined my plans, my day. Certainly won’t be returning!!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Hayley this is my second visit and she made me feel so welcome and my hair looks wonderful I am really pleased I have recently changed hairdressers after 10 plus years so was a bit anxious but I didn’t need to worry at all

Happy to have found Gemma who cared for my hair, and scalp condition with my cancer treatment. Also offered me a mousse for thin hair, which has given me such a boost of confidence. Thank you Box to for staff who care.

If you want a great cut and/or colour in friendly surroundings then this is the place for you.
It isn’t the cheapest place in Basingstoke but I think it, and I, am worth it.

I have been going to Box for around 8 years now. I've had many good experiences at Box but my last visit was particularly great. After a mix up with my booking (I need extra time due to my thick hair) Rihanna ended up with limited time to do my full head of highlights, but she did a brilliant job. It's the best colour I've had done in there and even though she was clearly busy and under pressure, she was extremely professional and kept asking if I wanted a drink or anything else. Extremely professional and great service, I just wish I had more cash on me for an extra tip. Thanks Rihanna
