Always love how friendly the staff are, they remember you and talk to you. I never mind who does my hair as they are all so good and well trained - real perfectionists which I love when it comes to my hair!

Attempted to write a great review but just noticed it only has 3 stars!! Error input.

Been coming to strands for 6 months or so now & originally tried because it's local. Haven't been able to find anywhere that's been able to cut my hair how I want it for years.. until I visited strands. Alice cuts my hair regularly now and is very, very good. Always happy, easy to talk to and cuts my hair exactly how I want it cut. She is an asset to strands. The rest of the team are also very polite & welcoming. Wouldn't ever go anywhere else!

Both my daughter and I had a really good experience this afternoon and we're really pleased with our hair.

I came in on Saturday for a consultation and showed the stylist what I wanted which was balyage starting from mid length and some light bits running through the top about 3 inches from the root, what I ended up with looks like highlights all over an inch from my root. Staff were friendly but seems my consultation was a waste of time as I don't have what I asked for. Now I have bleach all over my hair and will have to wait about a year for it to grow out to what I wanted. I was in the salon 5.5 hours and still don't have the result I wanted. Was told I could come back if not happy but there isn't much to be done about bleach all over my head. Not impressed.

I an a frequent visitor to the Hillhead Strands salon but have not been to the Whiteley salon for some time. Although many of the staff were unfamiliar to me, the high standards of friendliness and excellent customer service that I have always had at Strands were clearly evident throughout my visit. I was really pleased with my colour and cut.

Lovely hair cut, lovely service and great products used.

I have been seeing Alice for my hair since the beginnning of the year, I came to strands in the hope they could fix my balyage which another hair dresser did and ruined.
Thankfully my hair is now amazing, Alice is a miracle worker- lovely girl, great and what she does and great attention to detail.

My hair was in awful condition and I'm not really sure it had a style anymore, just a grown out, dry mess! Alice did a brilliant balyage and gave my hair a good chop - The makeover it needed! Thanks very much Strands Whiteley. Lovely salon xx

Tash did my colour and cut-amazing!

Went to salon for a final tidy up before my second baby is due, not only did I get a fab cut and colour by Kelly as always. I was looked after by all the staff making sure I was comfortable, which is a tricky feet when you're expected baby in just over a week.

I have never been to strands before but i can safely say I will certainly be coming back. I was unhappy with my hair and it was in desperate need of saviour. Tash was my stylist and she not only did exactly what i wanted (and more) she also completely transformed my hair, you would have never known how poorly coloured it was before. Tash spent a lot of time making sure my hair was exactly what i wanted and made the overall experience relaxing and smooth. I will be referring all my friends to Tash and Strands in the future. Her balyage was stunning!

After having a bad experience in previous salon, Strands has restored my faith . Whilst looking for a hairdressers in Whiteley (I'm new to the area) I came across all their good reviews. I decided to book and I'm so glad I did.. Alice was amazing, all the staff are friendly and my blonde is the best it's ever been. The salon is gorgeous. I had a very relaxing time at the salon. Happy with the advice, colour chosen and haircut received from Helen. I wasn't sure at all what to have done when I arrived but Helen had great insight as to what would suite me. She got it just right.

Very happy with Kelly, she is very friendly, super knowledgable and is a very busy girl to get booked in with. She is very patient with my 3 year old son, and takes the time to talk through you options at the start of the appointment.
Love the points scheme feels like a loyalty treat when you use them.

Helen did a great job of blending in the colour so that I don't have to have my whole hair coloured and the styling my just past the shoulder is clever and stylish making me feel youthful and sophisticated.

Fab as always!

Changed hairdressers after 20 years with my previous one. Little bit nervous about the colour match especially as it was a different product. Really pleased with the end result - beautiful colour with a fantastic shine and feels silky smooth., Very pleased with Emily J and Natalie. Highly recommend the salon.

The best salon I've ever been to. The staff are all,without exception willing and friendly.This is a family friendly and unisex salon. I can't recommend Strands too highly.
