Strands is a long established, and much loved salon group based in Fareham Hampshire, and is home to our team of award winning colour experts and stylists.

With iconic brand Redken as our number one choice, we offer the best in quality hair care and colour products.

From the moment you enter our salon we want you to feel welcomed and at home, in a warm and welcoming space where you can chill or “work from home” it’s your time.

Our Salons close family vibe, and the 30+ years of experience gained working with some of the biggest names in hairdressing has inspired the unique service at Strands…. Great hair comes as standard, and of course we do serve a great Coffee.

Had my hair done with Alice in the whiteley shop. She did an amazing job. She sat and listened to what I wanted and also made some good suggestions. I love the new colour.

A amazing service. While waiting I was offered a coffee, by very friendly staff.
The treatment was very relaxing and at no time did I feel rushed. Emily J cut and blowed dried my hair to a very professional standard. I would recommend this hairdressers to all my friends and family.

Alice did a fantastic job of my hair. Really pleased with the overall look and it also feels wonderful. Also impressed with the salon as a whole for having products which are environmentally friendly and animal cruelty free. Would highly recommend both Alice and Strands in Whiteley.

My daughter and I have been customers at Strands for many years so were thrilled when they were able to style her hair for her prom. We were looked after by the wonderful Alice, a very talented young lady and a natural with the teenagers! Nothing was too much trouble, she listened, chatted and created the most beautiful prom hair, exactly what my daughter had envisaged for her special day. Thank you Alice and all of the team at Strands for always making us feel so welcome and part of the Strands family!
