I love Natalie doing my hair.....I come in looking a complete mess and I walk out looking and feeling so much better. She’s great and I trust her 100%. Thanks Nat!

Before coming to Strands I’d had a dreadful cut. Kelly is sorting it out for me and it’s looking so much better already. Wonderful care and excellent attention to detail. Thank you Kelly and all the team.

I booked my appointment well in advance and advised Strands on booking that I wanted my hair set into a 1950’s style. I advised that my hair takes over an hour to dry in rollers under a hood dryer and I also emailed a photo of myself with my hair set into the style I wanted so that the stylist would be prepared.
On arrival for my appointment the stylist asked me ‘what are we doing today’, I was shocked considering the effort I had made in making the salon aware of what I wanted and sent a photo. I explained what I wanted and showed the stylist a photo.
I had my hair washed and in conversation I said to the stylist that I had booked an early appointment because I knew how long my hair would take to dry under a hood dryer. To which she responded that the salon does not have setting rollers and ‘doesn’t do it that way’. I asked what way it was going to be done and she advised it would be blow dried, pinned and then styled.
I told her that this would not hold all day but she was insistent that it would be fine.
I was not happy but I let her carry on as I had no other option or time to go elsewhere as it was for my brothers wedding.
The stylist finished my hair and it was not what I wanted and I knew it would not hold all day. I was finished around 9.30am and by the wedding at 2pm the curl had dropped out. My hair looked messy instead of bouncing curls.
I was extremely disappointed considering I had advised what I wanted and was told that this would be fine.
To have to pay £40 for something that I was not happy with for such an important day is not good enough.
I would not recommend this salon to anyone as they clearly did not listen to my requirements. The saying ‘Failing to prepare is preparing to fail’ and that is exactly what they did.... Fail.

Wow. Have been using Natalie for a while now. She is amazing and really gets to know her clients and their likes & dislikes. She has given me a whole new look which I love. She’s the first stylist I have ever stayed with as a regular. Thank you !

I’ve been going to strands and Kelly since it opened and every hair cut and colour has been superb. Complete cut and colour restyle for me and a cut restyle for my 5 year old - our hair cuts look amazing thanks Kelly, you’re an amazing artist xx

I booked my 15 yr old son to have a cut here rather than at a barbers. He loved it! Friendly staff and Natalie really made sure she knew what he wanted. He’s rebooked! Great products too!

Danni has been cutting my hair for 10 years now and I am always really pleased with the result and service. She is always very professional, she is skilled and knowledgeable. Danni has always done what is best for me and my hair - today was no exception. The children always request Danni as they feel comfortable and confident with her. I totally recommend Danni.

Yet again a fab cut and colour by Kelly. She listens and knows what I need with my challenging hair and no time to spend on it. I always leave feeling relaxed and special having had a treat and drinks of choice. With a baby and a toddler the salon is just what you need.x

I’m always pleased with my hair whenever I go to Strands and no matter who does my hair but today they went the extra mile when my stylist was ill. Instead of cancelling my appointment just before Christmas they reorganised things and fitted me in with Kelly. Her attention to detail was amazing and my hair is exactly how I wanted. It wasn’t rushed and so much care was taken. Very happy with my new hair

First time at the salon and was a buzzing atmosphere, very welcoming. Alice was really friendly, gave some good advice for treating and taming my hair with styling either naturally curly or straight. I had a great experience at Strands today. Started with a warm welcoming reception at arrival. My stylist Danielle welcomed with a warm smile as soon as I came in the saloon. She is highly professional but in a friendly and respectful way and takes the clients opnions to heart. While she works gently on my hear she listens with genuine interest to the client chat and shows interest in him/ her as a person. I felt relaxed and pampered and couldn't ask for any better service. A bit of background music would have made the experience a perfect one.
