I wish I had been told that what I wanted wasn't achievable rather than having the hairdresser confidently say that she could give me the look I was going for. I was only shown a small strip of the hair color applied to my newly bleached hair, and that was my grounds for accepting it. However, I came out with a very patchy result and colors that I had definitely not agreed to, If I had seen the color mesh she had mixed in the bowl I think she knows I would have declined it. I'm also not happy having paid 15£ extra for a hair treatment that was in for less than 3min, only to have my hair damaged further by having it pulled at whilst being blowdried with no heat protection (I said yes to having it "styled" cos I assumed this would be used, and stopped it when I realized it wasn't) I also found out that I had obtained a huge bleach stain on the back of the shirt I was wearing after I got home. The amount of hair color remover and hair mending products I had to spend money on has been more expensive than the visit to your salon, and it is still ongoing. Really disappointing experience and not a place I will recommend or come back to myself.

I came from out of the area and booked to have my hair styled for a party. Sharon did an amazing job on my usually uncooperative hair.

After writing a review I hoped to receive an apology for the disappointing corrective appointment. Surely a unhappy customer shouldn’t go out of the salon even more unhappy?

Unfortunately as we don’t pay for this service we cannot respond to individuals ... first you complained about still seeing roots... you had Highlights and it was explained that not every single strand would be covered and you said you didn’t want a regrowth tint. Yes you came back and we agreed to go over the areas for free .... you never said it was your birthday.... and it wasn’t booked as a birthday treat. You said and I quote ..” don’t completely dry my hair as it is curly and it frizzes ....so the stylist partly dried your hair ...I’m sorry if you was unhappy with your experience I feel there was slight miss communication!! We Do not make a habit of letting people leave the salon with dripping wet hair .

I had my hair highlighted last Thursday, was 99% happy with style, colour and cut, but I’d explained to *****, that my pet hate was having the white/grey hairs at my temple and sideburns showing, ie not covered by the dye.... which is what I ended up with, I mentioned this to the salon the next day as I was with my Daughters, and they agreed it looked off, so I was booked in to have it done today (my birthday).

Arrived and nice welcome, hairline dyed and hair washed, but am I expecting too much for it to be styled? ***** dried my fringe and hair was wet dripping down my back, she asked it that was ok, I said I’d like it dried as it’s winter and I had to walk a good mile back. she dried a a bit more and seemed to think she’d done enough and I felt uncomfortable at that point... left salon at 4.30 with wet hair.... so birthday treat didn’t happen..☹️

My experience was really good in every way.

I have been going to Alresford Hair Care for many years and the lovely Shannon has done my hair. A new stylist is always a hmmm moment but I am thrilled with my cut that Amy did for me on Christmas Eve. Two wonderful stylists to choose from now.

I just got the exact hair cut I wanted from Sharon. It’s fabulous. Stylish easy to maintain and it will last. I enjoyed a relaxing head massage during the expert wash and then over to Sharon. She brings a wealth of experience to a cut. A friendly and super professional team who really look after their clients. I’m a convert.

As always very good service, Georgie is chatty and outs you at ease.

Very relaxing experience lying on the bed with gentle music in the background and a pleasant smell coming from the oil diffuser. I nearly fell asleep. Georgie is excellent and has a gentle manner to put you at your ease. My eyelashes are now looking lovely and curly and dark. No need for mascara this summer which is a bonus when you suffer from hay fever! Highly recommend this service.

Kate always makes my nails look great, from super sparkly for ballroom competitions to laid back everyday or pretty designs for holidays (this weeks have free hand hearts). They always look amazing.
