WISPERS HAIR & NAILS

Established in 1980, Wispers offers a wealth of experience in the hair profession. Our modern Hair and Nails salon, based in the historic Wickham Square, has a fantastic reputation for providing an exceptionally high level of service by some of the most talented Hair Professionals in the South.
Our mission to constantly improve what we do and exceed our clients’ expectation, has never changed. The team undergo extensive and regular training and self-development programs with leading professional brands such as L’Oreal and Kerastase as well as other acadamies. This enables us to produce results that are always of the highest standards.
We feel passionate about keeping up with with all of the latest trends and developments in Hair and Nail Technology. This allows our clients to benefit from new techniques, products and styles that we tailor to suit each client and their individual needs. We offer new technologies such as L’Oreal SmartBond, Kerastase FusioDose and Kerastraight, so please ask your stylist for more details. The salon is equipped with the latest equipment such as Ceramic Rollerballs which ensure the best possible colour treatments as well as optimising the moisture in your scalp during the treatment to ensure you leave the salon with your expectations exceeded.
For your comfort and relaxation, we also provide iPads at the Development Stations for your use during your visit and our alcohol license enables us to offer you a wide range of complimentary refreshments during your stay with us. As you would hope and expect, we are complying with all Government and WHO guidelines for our industry and in many cases we have gone beyond the requirements to ensure the safety of our clients, team members and local community.

I really like that I was spoken to honestly by the creative director. Before we started he really took the time to explain what style would and would not work. Joe gave me advice on what to do to help my hair, as I have been ill, and my hair has really suffered. As he was cutting he kept me involved on how much to cut. I felt in control, excellent communication. I came out with something I did not expect and I really, really like it. I am glad I took his advice. The staff there were lovely, attentive and kind, but not overboard, perfect. I highly recommend Wispers. Thank you

She new exactly what to do with my hair, my goodness I have not had the WOW factor for years!!!!
I love my hair!

Caitlin provided me with a full head of highlights and a cut. She was extremely professional throughout my experience, the initial consultation took into account what I wanted along with Caitlins input on what she felt would suit my face shape and skin shade. Sam has been my hairdresser for years and honestly I wouldn’t use anyone else! Not only is the cut always exactly as I picture it I have my hair coloured too. Not easy blending a ginger down to black but she achieves this every time with perfection. Hair by Sam is always immaculate. She’s extremely talented!

This was my first visit to Whispers and I have to say it was an excellent experience. The staff were all welcoming and professional, my stylist Sam took her time to understand what I was looking for and made me feel very relaxed. Small touches like the drinks menu made it feel like a more luxurious experience. Sam has done a fantastic job on my cut and colour and I’m booked back in for 8 weeks time.

We offer new technologies such as L’Oreal SmartBond, Kerastase FusioDose and Kerastraight, so please ask your stylist for more details. The salon is equipped with the latest equipment such as Ceramic Rollerballs which ensure the best possible colour treatments as well as optimising the moisture in your scalp during the treatment to ensure you leave the salon with your expectations exceeded.
For your comfort and relaxation, we also provide iPads at the Development Stations for your use during your visit and our alcohol license enables us to offer you a wide range of complimentary refreshments during your stay with us. As you would hope and expect, we are complying with all Government and WHO guidelines for our industry and in many cases we have gone beyond the requirements to ensure the safety of our clients, team members and local community.
