Avant Garde - 14 High Street Hereford is a brand new stunning salon to join the high street in 2025 right next to boots in the best location, The salon was previously the award-winning Peter Prosser Salon. With it's very own Artistic Team, super talented team of stylists and a fantastic reputation, Avant Garde have simply pushed the salon to the next level with a state of the art salon and new location come and see us the ultimate relaxation in our backwash with tranquil water wall and of course the top-to-toe massage chairs all Avant Garde salons have. We pride ourselves on providing all clients with a memorable, relaxing and indulgent visit, and the team will work with you to ensure you have just that.

Despite having had my hair coloured at this salon for 25+ years and as recently as 6 weeks ago the colourist refused to colour my hair because I had touched up my roots at home in between. Something I have also been doing for 20 years and have always been open about at the salon every time I have had my hair coloured.

The state of the salon is also very sad to see, bare shelves and walls strewn with damp and desperately in need of repair. Until today despite this I have been incredibly loyal to the salon and recommended it to many many local friends and colleagues previously. Today’s visit will make it very hard for me to do that going forward.
