I came in today for my first appointment at Cedars to have my hair cut and styled by an apprentice. Walking out... I felt like a million bucks! The care of the apprentice (Keira) as well as by the instructor (Jo) was absolutely professional and the results, in a word, phenomenal. I look forward to coming again, and recommend everyone take advantage of this amazing salon. It's a pleasure to have such a lovely business so close to home!

I had my hair cut for the first time by Sandy , she immediately put me at ease. We discussed in detail what I was hoping to achieve and she immediately got to work. Fantastic salon. Great atmosphere and stylish decor. But the best thing is the friendly atmosphere and obviously the great haircut you get at the end of your visit. Loyal customer and always will be.

My first time at cedars - from the second I walked in and was greeted at reception I felt so comfortable my hair was washed superbly and I had the best cut with joanne - I will be returning for a massage with alena who I’ve heard is amazing!
Joanne, my hairdresser, knows my hair so well and she always blow dries it so well. I like the way that she always takes time and makes me feel that she cares about what she is doing. Always a good experience

Was so happy with the service I received today, everyone was so friendly, loved the colour and my haircut,
I was really excited to get my hair cut having not visited a salon for over a year.
I left feeling disappointed by the experience- I have never had such a quick hair cut in all my life
I wasn’t offered a coffee or even water after my hair was washed (at speed)
My haircut was average - over layered, having a expressed that I wanted it shorter at the front it was feathered (vs having a conversation in terms of what I meant, I didn’t mean that), the hairdresser asked me how I wanted it finished by telling me that a straight finish would help me see the cut better (I didn’t feel I could ask for anything else, she clearly wanted to blow dry it straight).
She made little to no effort to talk to me

I can understand why you only charge £41 for a cut and blow, due to the level of service.
My appt was at 2pm and I was home by 245pm!!!
There was no atmosphere, I was told everyone was at a summer festival..
Been going to DJ for cuts for over 10 years now, always perfect service. Today I had my first colour from Alison and I am obsessed.
As usual a lovely experience at Cedars that does not disappoint. They are always so welcoming.
