I travel 50 miles for Elliot to cut my hair…so worth it. He has been cutting my hair for 10 years and he’s the best ???

Have been using this salon for a few years now and have no intention of going anywhere else. Everyone is so lovely and the staff make sure their clients are well looked after. Nothing but praise for Open and it’s wonderful staff and am always so pleased with the results when I leave.

Sarah was amazing as usual! So friendly and we always have such nice chats when I see her. Always gives me the best cut. So worth the money!

Cannot fault Open Hairdressing, or Ben; they offer a great service as always .. made all the better and more convenient by being able to book online now via Google. I’d also like to congratulate them on their fab new look website; much more informative, user friendly and personal. Great job guys!!

As always Ian really listens to what you want & spent almost 1.5 hours cutting my hair with great skill & care. He genuinely works very hard to ensure you are pleased with your hair & leave looking good.

Fabulous highlights and styling, I can't recommend Nathan enough! I wanted to get a nice haircut before I started uni and I'm so glad I chose this salon! It was completely worth it. The highlights look very natural (but noticeable!) and the cut is very chic. They offered complimentary drinks as well, it was an all-round great experience. Just left the salon half an hour ago and already been complimented. Thank you so much Nathan! I will definitely be coming back.

Dani was really knowledgeable, confident, friendly and chatty throughout. You can tell she is very passionate about her work and was a pleasure to have her cut and colour my hair. I’m very pleased with it and have booked in with her again.

When I arrived at open the receptionist was very welcoming offered a drink straight away then Ben came had a chat what I wanted. Very professional from start to finish I would definitely recommend open. All staff are friendly and just a really nice environment to be in.

I've just moved to Hemel and it's always nerve wracking trying to find a new haird
salon. I booked with Open because I liked the vibe. The staff were friendly and attentive which made me feel very relaxed. I also loved the decor. Elliot was my stylist and he was fab, we chatted away and I let him do what he thought would suit my hair best, and I love the end result. I've already booked in for colour and for another cut in a few months. Thanks Elliott!

I suffer from PTSD and Dani made me feel relaxed from the start of our appointment, she was able to make adaptations for my appointment, she also toke the time to listen to what my desired looks were and was able to give me a hair colour that I not only love but is also easy to maintain.

I have booked my next appointment with Dani and look forward to becoming a regular client.

Trips to Old Hemel for my regular cut with Ben have an added entertainment factor since the local area is so popular as a film set.
That along with lovely cakes, fresh produce from Artickoke Cafe make getting your hair done a colourful experience. Ben always gets my hair tamed and looking the way I want and the other staff are friendly and efficient- now magazines are back and the screens gone it’s a treat and return to normalcy we’ve all been craving. Wonderful!!

I have finally found a salon that ticks all the boxes and I am no longer nervous about what they will do to my hair! Kirstie is amazing, she listens to what you want and I absolutely love my new colour, it’s something I don’t think I would ever have gone for and I am so pleased I have!
I love that everyone helps everyone out and all the trainees are so good and it’s clear they love what they do and receive great training and support.
The atmosphere is great, there is a lovely buzz about the place, super friendly, relaxed and an awesome drinks menu to make the whole experience even better, there is nothing not to love about Open, Hemel.
