My first visit to an actual salon in a number of years so was a litte daunting. All staff I met were very friendly and welcoming. Kirstie did her best to put me at ease, decifer my requests and point me in the best direction. Great haircut I'm still getting used to it but lots of compliments. Thank you for being so patient see you next time. Great coffee also a bonus. X

I have had the pleasure of observing and personally experiencing the immaculate level of training, passion of the directors, skill set of apprentice (Jess) at the Academy and the wonderful quality cuts done by qualified stylists (Kirsty and Sophie) at the Hemel Salon on both of my daughters.
The salon is such a vibe!
It’s always touching to see years worth of skills willingly shared and eagerly absorbed to create the next generation of magnificent stylists!

I was very pleased with my cut
Overall a great experience and great understanding of figuring out what you would like though my explanation was poor.
A comprehensive knowledge of the dos & don’t of hair and was able to get my hair back to a professional looking cut.
The value for the experience and expertise can’t be more overstated. Easily would have spent twice for the same cut.
Also create atmosphere, friendly and welcoming.

Amy does a wonderful job, carried out with kindness and compassion going beyond ‘just’ cutting hair. We discussed hormonal issues regarding my hair and skin and she was most kind and relatable.
first time at this salon. jade was lovely and I love my hair! they use SP products which is a massive bonus for me as my hair feels amazing now! will definitely be going back, a lovely experience.

Jade is a fab stylist. I wouldn't have anyone else.
Bad hair cut. My hair became very messy after cutting. It is worse than before cutting. So disappointed. By paying £65 for this quality of hair cut is unacceptable. I will not go again.

Open/Dani never seem to fail me, the salon got recommended to me by my sister who lives in the area & I will never go anywhere else. Dani is not only treats you as a friend but gives great advice to suit your concerns or needs. Dani is always great ti take my vague ideas and turn them into something fabulous- Thank you

Open Hairdressing is the Gold Standard of hair salons. The stylists and all the team are very accomplished and hospitable. The atmosphere is dynamic with a great sense of verve. I am a great fan and delighted with my haircut, go check them out.
She listens carefully to my needs and takes time to execute them to the best of her ability. So I walk out of the salon feeling very happy

I’ve been getting my hair done at Open Hemel for 3 years and it never disappoints! Everyone is so welcoming, warm and kind. Nathan has taken my hair through so many changes, with the most amazing colour work. Most recently, he did my wedding hair and I was so happy with the outcome. I really appreciated the creative input to help create a hairstyle that i love. Their unique take on hair is so refreshing, and it seems everyone at the salon is open to ideas. Josh was a gentleman from the minute I walked in the door. Talked me through the cut and why he was doing what he was doing. Asked me constantly if everything was OK, water temp, music lol, hairdryer heat etc. Such a nice lad, I'm definitely going back.
