TONI&GUY Hemel Hempstead opened in 1998. Comprising of a strong team of talented and passionate stylists and technicians who will ensure your TONI&GUY experience is a fabulous one for both you and your hair. We offer additional services such as bridal and occasion hair. Our wide range of retail products from label.m will ensure your hair stays salon perfect until your next visit. For further information about our extensive service menu or for a free style consultation please speak to one of our team.

The salon is located in the centre of the pedestrian high street, between the two entrances to the Marlowes Shopping Centre, and a short walk from the Riverside car park.

I hadn’t had my hair cut for almost a year, I love going to the salon, the experience was lovely! So clean and quiet and friendly, my needs were met at every point during my hair cut and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit! Thank you - I can’t remember who cut my hair he was lovely and Irish! Just had my hair coloured by Sam and cut and styled by Lauren and to say I’m in love with my hair is honestly an understatement! Katie has been cutting my hair for over 10 years now. The whole salon experience is always professional and customer focused and now with Covid restrictions to deal with, the team at Hemel have been exceptional in how they are keeping their clients safe and still providing a great experience. Your own Toni & Guy bag with your name on containing your own gown and towels and a cup for a drink should you wish to have one. Everyone is wearing masks and/or visors which are difficult to manage over a 9 hour day. Adam is front of house and always has a warm welcome and a great smile. The apprentices look after you at the washbasins and with a drink whilst you have your treatment. I can't imagine going anywhere else and during these unprecedented times where businesses have to adapt to keep everyone safe, they shine. Keep up the good work!

I can’t remember my stylist name but I believe she was a director? when I was getting a hair treatment she went to the back came back and started washing my hair whilst chewing food without her mask on - in this current climate this seems completely inappropiate - Her visor did not cover her face. When she was cutting my hair she constantly said it wasn’t shiny which isn’t particularly nice - once is okay to explain my hair but doesn’t need to be repeated. I felt she was plugging the shampoo conditioner and leave in conditioner far too much - it became uncomfortable and unpleasant. I had also asked her to cut the bits of hair around my face shorter which she just didn’t do. I asked my hair to be dried straight and it was certainly wavy- I redid it when I was home. I’ve had it blow dried straight before so I know it’s possible. She was extremely rough when combing and doing my hair - she yanked my head making my head jerk numerous times. She burnt my head with the hairdryer and it was extremely painful - she said sorry but didn’t offer anything to compensate and left it as that. Overall I wasn’t happy and was very disappointed. I have had my hair cut numerous times but this was my first time at Toni and Guy and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it. Since lockdown this was the first time I was getting my hair cut and it’s safe to say I felt deflated and a little upset afterwards

I was nervous about getting my hair done in these Corona times, but straight away I was made to feel welcome and put at ease by the staff member on the desk. The salon is located in the centre of the pedestrian high street, between the two entrances to the Marlowes Shopping Centre, and a short walk from the Riverside car park.
