The sage and professional environment when I walked in was very noticeable, with screens and visors for all staff. Hand sanitisers were everywhere for client use and I quickly understood that client appointments and staff had been staggered to ensure the maximum working space for staff and more than a meter distance for clients. The whole experience made me feel comfortable and relaxed and it was fantastic to be back! Maggie was amazing as always, was attentive and brilliant, and had the fantastic ability of remembering how I like my hair cut and coloured, very impressive. I walked out feeling euphoric and excited about my new hair! I must also comment on the appointment process throughout COVID-19, the fact that you were in communication and rescheduled appointments was very much appreciated and it felt like you cared. So fantastic service all round. Thank you, its so good to have you open again!

Such a great experience, first hair cut since lockdown and my first time at this salon. I am so impressed with my new hair style,. Wayne was fantastic, such an amazing cut. I felt very safe being in the salon with Covid, everthing was spotless and they had all the measures in place to give you pease of mind.

I’ve been to many hair salons over the years for highlights in my super fine hair and The Hairdressing Company is the best. Always lovely results, friendly staff, nice coffee and a massage chair at the hair washing station :-) Always leave feeling more like ‘me’!

I always get my hair done by Jordan but today (15/07/2020) her knowledge and talent was spectacular. Post lockdown hair needed a big overhaul and Jordan transformed my grown out balayage to a beautiful vibrant copper with deeper roots and low lights. All the artists at THC Hitchin are very lovely but Jordan is my main girl.

Just back from having my hair done for the first time since lockdown. Jordan has done my hair for a number of years now - she is excellent. She has my complete trust, so innovative, always goes the extra mile and makes my hair look incredible. I feel so lucky to have found her. Xxx

After 7 months of not getting my hair done professionally it was fantastic to be back a the Hairdressing Company. They have put a lot of thought into how to make your visit feel safe and a comfortable. So glad to have my post quarentine hair do! Love it! Salon was very clean and hand sanitizer and masks at the front door! Was very surprised to not see some of the staff wearing face visors as I was under the impression they were a must not just mouth covering!

I absolutely love my new hair... Jordan is a great hairdresser. She isn’t pushy with her opinions after you tell her what you want done with your hair and she gives really good advice. My hair has come out exactly as I wanted it. I like that the salon is cruelty free as I’m a big animal lover. I can’t really comment on the value for money, as since I properly went cruelty free I have only been to this salon to get my hair professionally done. It had been a very long time before then! But I’m glad I found the salon and glad Jordan is my new hair dresser ?

It was great to be back and getting my hair done after so long. As usual the service was excellent and all social distancing observed. It was a very good experience and I felt very safe.

Excellent standard of technical work and a lovely, friendly atmosphere. Aveda products are lovely. The Post covid salon requirements well thought out and you hardly notice the small changes

Felt nervous about returning to a salon situation, but THC were very professional and careful whilst still being as friendly and welcoming as they always are. Great to be back. Thanks for making me feel normal again ?
