Whilst looking for a good hairdresser in Hitchin I checked out the THC reviews online, They were all amazing so I decided to book for a cut and blow dry. The reviews definitely lived up to expectations.

My stylist, Jenny, discussed with me in detail how I wanted my hair styled and showed me pictures of hairstyles that would suit me.

I am so pleased with the finished result. Jenny is a brilliant at cutting and styling and very professional.

Excellent service, as usual. Jordan understands the problems with my hair, and cuts it beautifully each time. She is also genuinely interested in me and remembers previous conversations - unlike a lot of hairdressers who talk to customers without actually listening to responses.

Had a calm and relaxing experience. My hairdresser was a young lady named Sophie.She was very frendly and professional. And done a excellent job.....I shall be going again and highly recommend

Sophie took time to check what I wanted, having not cut my hair before. She made suggestions for improvement and spent time getting the cut and blow dry right. Loved the massage chair and Aveda products. Good service has converted me to be a future customer.

Jordan is an exceptional hairdresser who I trust implicitly. I trust her so much that I will often suggest to her that she does what she thinks is best for my hair, rather than me dictating what I'd like. I have not been let down by this approach!
I have recommended her to friends/family, all of whom have come away with their best haircuts to date!

Had my hair coloured by Sarah and cut by Sophie today, really pleased with it. My hair looks healthy and shiny again, good cut and colour. Will definitely return if colour lasts without fading and hair is easy to style at home.

I had Sarah do my hair colour and it's great. She's fab and did a very very good job. I can't recommend her enough.

My daughter (aged 14) attended the salon with mum in tow. Minutes into the appointment my daughter came over faint hot & started to blackout. The girls in the salon were brilliant with glass of water & gentle talking. The situation got progressively worse, so the girls very quickly made another appointment for the next day & aided us out of the salon (no worries about making a payment) I'm pleased to say after discussions with the doctor my daughter is feeling good. I joined her in 2 appointments at the salon with with Sophie & Jordan. Both girls did 2 great cuts & showed such compassion, we will definitely go back. Thank you girls.

It was my first visit to The Hairdressing Company today and I was really pleased with the results. Sophie did my hair and she was excellent, she really knew her stuff. Sophie also has great attention to detail, she made sure my colour and cut was perfect and it was. I will definitely be going back to this salon again.

Had a lovely experience. My 12 year old daughter and I had our appointments at the same time; my daughter with Sophie and me with Jenny. They sat us next to each other which I thought was very sweet. They're both lovely and professional and we were both totally satisfied and happy with our hair cuts. I will definitely be going back. Thank you!

I am so happy to have found THC! An Aveda salon is a must for me as their products are mostly not tested on animals. In all other ways the experience exceeds expectations - always a fantastic colour and cut from the highly professional team. Also a great experience with a really friendly,pampered feeling on every visit. Shazia and Sarah are a winning combination! Highly recommend.

I love the Hairdressing Company as I find the staff friendly and helpful. The Aveda products work well with my fine difficult thinning hair and use fewer chemicals. The staff never push or promote the products though are very knowledgeable when questioned. My highlights today are lovely and the cut is ideal for my hair type and face, beautifully executed.

I am so happy with my first experience at thc and Maggie's haircut. Maggie listened to what I wanted and I am thrilled. It is the first time I have come out of a hairdressers and not wanted to do anything to it (usually I need to wash it and style it myself). A big thank you to Maggie.

I had Jordan from the hitchin salon completely change my look today, I had booked in for my standard full head of highlights but fancied a total change, she took this in her stride and was not put off my thinking on her feet, i encouraged her to take charge and put together the colours that she felt would like nice. She made me feel important and gave me her undivided attention. The care she took over my colour and cut is testimony to her professionalism and as a result I love my new look . She is a credit to the salon

I went for the first time to THC and had a hair cut by Chynna.
There was quite a lot of hair to take off and she did a great job and offered advice on layers. Will definitely be going back.

I usually see Chyna, she is really friendly and chatty. She knows just how I like my hair done and totally trust her. Occasionally I see Sarah, if I am too late to book Chyna, and she is great too. I love the product. I had my hit washed by a new girl today and I must say I could of had my hair washed and head massaged all afternoon, she was awesome.

Jenny cut my hair today & it was in desperate need of a restyle after not having cut for a few months.
As ever, I was so pleased with the whole service. Jenny cut my hair beautifully, it's a treat to go to the hair company:-)

I had my hair cut by Director Wayne and he was just brilliant. The cut I had previously was pretty terrible but somehow he managed to salvage it. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
