Great experience haven't been to a salon for ages had my hair done with chyna love the colour and cut and the young girl with very long hair that washed my hair done a great job too. Everyone nice and friendly.

Very happy with the hair cut and colour. Always looks good. Less impressed with the salon "experience". Maybe I am comparing to London salons. Asked for water several times, didn't arrive. Wouldn't describe it as a pampering experience but very pleased with Aveda colour.

Loved my experience and new hairstyle at hairdressing company Hitchin. Everyone is really friendly and it's nice and relaxing. Chyna and jack looked after me today and they were brilliant.

I started coming to this salon because I wanted as chemical free colour for my hair as possible. Not only is the colour really natural the cut has been excellent which ever stylist I have had.

I haven't been in a salon for years as I have a hair dresser come to my home, I really enjoyed my experience there, the staff were really welcoming, even when booking the appointment. My stylist was lovely too, was nice to have a hairdresser who can have a nice conversation with you. Will definitely be going there again :D

I've been going to the hairdressing co for some years but have recently started taking my 12 year old as well. I love that the staff talk to her and ask what she wants and then check that's its ok with me. Always a great cut and lovely staff make her feel soecisl

An attentive team greeted me when i arrived. They were calm and polite even though they were really busy. Chynna cut my hair, she always does an excellent job. She is professional, talented and skillful. I love the way she cuts my hair.

Upset hairdresser cut more off than i wanted.

I've been looking for a good hairdresser for over a year, since my regular one left the profession. The excellent online reviews made me try The Hairdressing Company. I was lucky enough to pick Maggie who was brilliant. She listened to my ideas about what style I wanted, looked at my hair and asked lots of questions and then advised me. The cut she did for me is brilliant, the best I've had for years! And amazingly once home it still looks great after I've washed and styled it myself. Thanks Maggie!

I've been going to THC for the last year or so and they are just fantastic! I always enjoy my visit, they're friendly, professional, highly skilled and attentive too. Nothing is too much trouble and the one time they were running a bit behind, they offered a free conditioning treatment to make up for it! It's a quiet and relaxing salon and I'm always pleased with the result. My hair feels and looks better than it has in years, I no longer have a sensitive and irritated scalp and I'm sure this is down to both their sound advice and the Avena colour and styling products used.

Huge compliments to Jenny, for always doing such a great job cutting and styling my very fine hair, and also to Sarah for my colour - I'm so thrilled being blonde now I can't imagine going back!

I was a bit unsure of what I actually wanted but, after a good chat with Kate and Sarah we all decided that I was going to from Blonde to Brunette.

I am really pleased with the result of going dark with blended highlights although, it will take a bit of getting used too the dramatic but fab change

Went from blonde to brunette at the expert hands of Sarah. Showed her pictures of what I wanted and Sarah then mixed a unique colour using lots of shades. Sarah was very thorough when colouring my, very thick, hair and then blowed dried IT beautifully. Thank you so much Sarah

Had my hair restyled from long to short with a new colour. Wayne spent a lot of time checking that my hair type and hairline were suitable to my request. The actual cut is perfect and the colour complements it beautifully, for the first time ever the finished result is exactly like the picture I bought in. Couldn't be happier.

I had a tint re growth and cut and finish yesterday with Jenny and was really happy with the end result. Jenny is a great hairdresser and a really lovely girl, easy to chat with and very professional. I showed her a picture of a cut I liked and she replicated it exactly and have had some comments today. I also received a hand massage whilst the colour was on which was a lovely surprise. The salon is always inviting and you feel well looked after.

I was recently looking for a new hair salon as mine was getting expensive but I am very particular about how my hair is cut. I am extremely pleased with The Hairdressing Company in Hitchin, the staff are friendly, skilled and actually listen to what you ask for. I have now been twice and was very pleased on both occasions with my experience and the cut. The salon itself is clean, professional and beautifully decorated, plus the massage chairs while getting your hair washed are a lovely indulgence to the experience. I would and have already recommended this salon and my hairdresser Maggie multiple times. The prices are competitive but I believe you get what you pay for, great value.

Chynna has given me another lovely hair cut and a good gossip at the same time. Fabulous!

I moved to Hitchin recently and needed to find a new salon. As a long time devotee to Aveda products I was thrilled to learn of the local Hairdressing Company. I've had two appointments with Katy now for cuts and colouring and been totally satisfied. I'm pleased and relieved to found the quality and style I want from THC. Thank you.

Service very good. Staff attentive. Style went quite flat after walking out the salon. Would like the cut to retain its shape slightly better.
