This was my first visit to the salon, as my usual place was fully booked.
The receptionist greeted me warmly, was professional and very welcoming - a great initial experience.
As I was shown to the treatment room, I was asked about the pressure I wanted for the massage, to which I requested a firm pressure.
Within the first couple of minutes, the therapist asked how I found the pressure and I asked for a firmer pressure. She agreed but unfortunately did not provide a firmer pressure.
I was treated respectfully and professionally throughout the treatment, but unfortunately the massage was not the standard I had hoped for or have ever experienced elsewhere.
I was given water and a juice shot at the end, which was a lovely touch.
Back at reception, I was then charged £61 for 30minutes of massage. I paid, feeling confused, as I had seen a 30min massage advertised as £44 on site. I stupidly didn’t question this at the time, but sent a follow up email upon my return home, having double checked the online price list.
I was informed that the £44 price was for a 30 minute time slot for a massage, which would be 20 minutes hands on, whereas I had been booked in for a 45min appointment with 30mins hands on.
This price is much more money than I have previously paid for thing length of massage, - had I known this before, I wouldn’t have booked, particularly due to the underwhelming massage.
Sadly, I won’t be returning.
