I had a great experience at T&G St Albans today. It was my first visit to the salon post Covid and my appointment was with Sarah. I was made to feel safe and relaxed and despite all the PPE and new procedures, it was still a nice experience.

The experience in salon felt safe - staff were friendly & well organised. My hairdresser (Sarah) gave me a really nice haircut so I left feeling happy. We do pay £5.00 for PPE, which is okay, but if prices go up as well then you are becoming a bit too expensive.

Carla is a genius..... she last cut my hair in February but all through lockdown people would accuse me of having had a sneaky hair cut! I hadn’t but the quality of the cut lasted! Still great to have a much needed re-fresh!

As always Rob provides an excellent, personal service. Nothing is too much trouble. A real personal service with a smile and a great sense of humour!

My hair was due a major trim and Jess did a great job as always. Rob also used his expert skill on my colour. Fab job!
The prices have gone up but understandable with all the extra care in place.

Had a full head of highlights and rob did them perfectly!! Love the colour and very good social distancing and cleaning for Covid-19

Jordan (not sure of her second name ) did an excellent job with my highlights. However I’ m not sure the salon was Covid secure and I didn’t feel that safe. There were a lot of people in the salon when staff and customers were included and there were no screens between customers at the washbasins or elsewhere. All staff wore visors, which is good. I would not go on a Saturday again I know it is quieter at other times.

After 5 months I was desperate for a haircut by my go-to stylist Karim. A great cut as always and a massive mood boost too. So worth waiting for K and not having a bowl chop three month in! Thank you all for still being there.

My first hair cut since lock down and didn’t know what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised.
The Salon had cleansing measures and social distancing measures to the T. Very organised and no fuss.
It felt normal and very professional.
Had a lovely hair cut! Feel like a new person!

Salon very well organised and everyone friendly and welcoming as usual. Jordan coloured my hair beautifully- very pleased with it .

I knew the haircut would be good - it always is. But I was really impressed by the care taken to ensure a hygienic environment. You could have taken my appendix out safely!

I been coming to Toni and Guy for approx 18yrs now. So I always expect a top service which I always get Rob is very professional in all he does however I did notice that it was a little more expensive than usual but I was willing to except this as I was so grateful to have my hair coloured once again.

Returning to the salon after 4 months I was a little nervous, but no need! Rose has briefed me well on the new COVID 19 precautions and Robert guided me expertly through the experience using all his skills and his confidence and attention to detail in sterilising everything was very reassuring. This is a top team and they deserve the support of the community. Well done St Albans and well done Tony and Guy! .
