Walked into the salon with no appt for a fringe trim to a lovely cheery lady with a warm welcome who said I could come back in half hour. I went to Head Gardener today for the first time. I have alopecia universalis so don't have much need for hairdressers usually! But I have a new human hair wig that I wasn't 100% happy with and asked for a fringe to be cut into it. The whole experience was brilliant, from booking the appointment (something I was strangly nervous about!) to the end result. Alison was so professional and I was able to use the wee room they have downstairs so felt like I was treated with such dignity. I absolutely love my new fringe and now can't wait to show off my new hair! Would 100% recommend the salon to anyone and will definitely be back when I fancy a restyle!!

The Head Gardener, Inverness, offers a blow dry club offer which entitles the user to unlimited blow dries for a monthly fee. So far, I've had blow dries with Emma-Jayne, Cameron and, more recently, with Emma. They've all been fab! (And I am fussy...) This is my second visit recently, and on my first last year I was greeted by John who was instantly very warm and welcoming and quickly put me at ease, then had my hair done so beautifully by Linzi, who always takes such care, and then I returned a few days later to have my hair put up stunningly by Cameron for an event. They didn’t know it at the time but I was struggling with quite intense post natal depression and was extremely nervous, but all the staff are so professional and genuinely caring, and took such good care of both me and my hair with lovely results. I don’t know how often people tell you all what lovely work you all do, but it really makes such a difference, and I’ll always be grateful and thankful for how kind and caring you all are. Had excellent cut in HG one week, followed by highlights the following week.
Cameron made sure you got what you wanted,he listened to specific detail about cut wanted, (because of hair type and texture), also discussed preferences of highlights, but with suggestions from him(as he's the expert on colour). So that he got it the way you want it.
He did an excellent job, colour turned out so different to normal hair colour, and yet subtle enough to look very natural and blended in with original colouring.
He goes through everything but still says to put any questions to him.
A happy chap who looks like he enjoys his job for the transformation of before and after.
Will definitely go back to him to upkeep colours, and most definitely also suggest him to others and how a visit to the Head Gardener is just so relaxing with lots of offers of coffees. ❤️

I was in a few weeks ago to book an appointment for highlights and a new style. I had a consultation with Rebecca she was very helpful and advised me to try nioxin 5 to help my dry scalp and hair I have been using nioxin 5 for two weeks before my appointment and made a huge difference to my scalp and hair.
