SO exciting yesterday had my first visit back to Canterbury Toni and Guy since the start of the pandemic
I am an extremely anxious person and the staff made me feel so safe and secure
Georgia who cut and blow dried my hair was absolutely delightful- friendly , welcoming and such a professional!
The young lady who washed my hair was also superb ( so sorry I can’t recall her name)
I am so so happy with my hair- feel like a different person!

After being diagnosed with cancer a year ago, I lost all my hair with chemotherapy treatment. I went back after my hair came back in thick and curly .coming back to the hairdressers was a big deal to me. Lee thinned it out and made me feel normal again , giving me back my confidence again x thankyou

I’ve had my hair coloured and cut by Andy and Ringo respectively for the last years. They’ve both been amazing, wonderful, brilliant hairdressers throughout the years. They are simply the best. Should I need to leave Canterbury, I’d make the journey to have my hair done by both of them. They are good listeners and always respond with courtesy, respect and creativity to ensure that they understand and do what’s expected still sharing their opinions and views. Huge thank you to Tony&Guy and to Andy and Ringo —> superstars It’s always a delight to have my hair coloured and styled by them. Well done. Keep up the great work. Thank you

I used to dread going to the hairdresser, then I discovered Toni & Guy. There’s a family feeling in the salon. Everyone is friendly though professional.

Excellent haircut and a friendly ambiance

I was late arriving for my appointment and Ringo and Andy were really understanding and managed to accommodate the disruption. The colour is fantastic and Ringo has given me a great new style following ‘lockdown’ hair.

The salon has more than a few genius’ in hair cutting and colouring along with the loveliest personalities. Have kept this to myself for many years but it’s time to reveal a secret … they really care about your hair.

Great service good advice from Andy. Changed the colour to have copper hi- lights. Absolutely love it.

Always professional, never "tells" just suggestions. Remembers me from last visit which could have be months. Everyone wearing masks. Toilet immaculate & multi use, men, women & babies. Coffee was good.

It’s always an absolute pleasure to spend the day with Andy and Ringo at Toni & Guy Canterbury. It’s not just the beautiful colour and the ‘get it absolutely perfect’ cut but the chat, the atmosphere and one of the best questions “would you like a head massage?” - easiest decision of the day! And the cups are compostable.

As I get ready for my son’s wedding my time at Toni and Guy felt like the calm before the storm. I felt I had excellent advice on how to style my hair for the big day.

Great colour by Andy, good wash and head massage by Matthew, and fabulous cut by Ringo. Sparklingly clean salon, conscientious attention to detail. Very pleased.

As ever, a great experience. I was made to feel welcome and relaxed by both Alfie and Ringo. After a great hair wash and cut, I felt a new woman!

A quiet day at the salon as it was Monday afternoon. Great for me during the pandemic but the salon is also well organised for all the COVID restrictions. A lovely relaxing experience and an excellent hair cut. I’m feeling like a new person.

Ringo gets my hair and how to make it echo my life. A wizard with scissors, a walking music encyclopaedia, it all comes together when he shapes the cut! Genius!

I am so lucky that I have a magnificent colour artist in Andy and a brilliant hair stylist in Ringo - they are awesome, extremely talented , always professional, I can’t speak highly enough.

It is always a pleasure to be pampered by the staff at Toni and Guy Canterbury, especially Ringo and Andy, who take great care and advise me on my hair care ?

I came in with medium length hair and after briefly discussing with ***** the stylist, we agreed to keep the overall length as I quite liked it. It just needed tidying up and styling. I told him I did not want a pixie cut again as I felt the longer length was better for my face now. I had my hair washed and returned to the stylist who proceeded to cut my hair as if our conversation about keeping the length had never happened. He just kept cutting and cutting until I left the salon with a pixie cut after all. All the length and fullness had gone. This on top of two appointments made previously which were never properly registered on the system. I was promised a discount because of that but not sure if it was applied. The cost was £50. It seemed to me he is just programmed to cut short styles and may be he cuts more for men that women? He has cut my hair many times before but always a short style. I don’t know what he was thinking given I had specifically said I did not want a short haircut this time. This cut in any event is horrible like a pudding shape and my fringe cut way too short as well.

I showed a picture of the hairstyle I wanted and Georgia (hope i got the name right) made me look even better than the photo i showed her. She answered all of my questions and was so friendly and reassured me that I wasn’t having too much cut off. Thank you so much and I will definitely be coming back!
