TONI&GUY Canterbury

I was very apprehensive about an overdue restyle at a new salon and Joanne the stylist and Alfie who gave me a fabulous hair wash and head massage made my visit wonderful. Joanne cut my hair beautifully and really surprised me with her understanding of what I needed. My only regret is I had no cash to leave a well earned tip. When I go to my next appointment I will make up for it. Thank you so much - my husband was so pleased he took me out for a valentines dinner.

Today myself and my Down syndrome sister visited your Canterbury salon. Every member of staff we dealt with, a receptionist, two colourists, two stylists and two washers were excellent. Customer service was first class. Everyone was happy and friendly. The young man the washed my sisters hair was outstanding. He was compassionate. He spoke to her in a friendly way with lots of respect and continually checked she was happy with what he was doing. Exceptional for a young man his age.

I though the hair cut was just like I wanted. Which is great.
However the hair colouring didn’t work out.
I was going for blue highlights and instead I have a mixture of grey, blondish and some blue. My hair is dark and so the blondish is the bleached part that didn’t colour blue.... I am disappointed on this part.

Great communication and nice people- I felt better and much more relaxed after. My hair looked fuller and much healthier. They read my mind on what haircut I wanted! The only hairdressers for me. The products they offered me also suited the needs of my skin. Overall, a relieving experience.

Before this visit I have always been charged & 50 pounds for a wash and cut but on this occasion I was charged £55pounds so it would seem that Emily who cuts my hair is now a senior stylist. It would have been nice if, at the time of booking, I had been told this. Also I was kept waiting for over 15 minutes which ment I very nearly run over my parking time.

Very pleased with the service I received. I was made to feel welcome. I enjoyed relaxing in the massage chair and had a head massage. As always my hair was cut well. Altogether a good experience.

I had a restyle with Tanya today, she was AMAZING! Best shampoo and head massage I’ve ever had and love my new hair style.

Joanne really listened to me and discussed my ideas and gave advice about colour options too. Fantastic experience, will definitely book in with her again. Love my new style,. Thanks Joanne!

Amazing stylists who all know their stuff and have plenty of experience. The service itself goes above and beyond what you would get in most other establishments.

Well, I have been going to your hairdressers for years. I was shocked when I was told it was £90 for my colour. The gentleman on the desk said well it’s meant to be £85 half head ( also that price on line) so he didn’t know why I was charged £90. I just had a normal shampoo no massage. Giving my hairdresser £5 tip and the girl that dried my hair £2 tip I wasn’t very happy to have to pay an extra £5 when that wasn’t the price for half head.

I trust Lee completely He knows exactly how to style my hair to best advantage Looks Fantastic & feels good too

I was bored with very blonde and shoulder length hair. Andy put through some lovely caramel highlights which have softened the colour beautifully. Ringo then transformed my slightly straggly locks into a lovely choppy bob. They both devoted a lot of care and attention and as always I left the salon feeling so much better than when I went in. Thank you so much Andy and Ringo.

Andy and Ringo in the Toni&Guy Salon in Canterbury are simply the best. They always make me feel so happy after having highlights done by Andy and hair cut by Ringo. I would recommend both of them unreservedly to anyone wishing to feel super and great after a visit to hairdressers. Both are great listeners and give thought and creativity to any request made. Been to Toni and Guy Canterbury for years. Brilliant colour as always by the wonderful Andy. But very poor blow dry and fringe trim by a junior that clearly had no idea what she was doing. Apart from the lovely colour, it doesn’t look like I’ve even been to the hair salon today ?

As always, Ringo cut my hair very well and I was really pleased with the result. Everyone is so kind, friendly and professional. Archie washed my hair and did a great job. He was very polite and friendly.

After many years of trying to find a hairdresser that understands curly hair I was happy to find Lee who has cut my hair for 2 years now.
