I could not be happier with my daughters hair cut. She has very curly hair that we have found difficult to manage and control. She felt embarrassed by how frizzy and crazy it was. Cella was so knowledgable about curly hair, how to tame it and make it look strong and healthy. My daughter left the salon feeling happy, confident and empowered by her big curls. Thank you...she loves her ‘pretty hair’.

I had the most wonderful salon experience at the Lounge! I requested an ashy balayage with olaplex treatment and a bouncy blow dry. Sarah styled my hair and I was extremely happy with the end result. I felt like I was at a spa. Sarah was lovely to chat to, the massage chairs were so comfortable and it was a very enjoyable experience!!

I had been apprehensive about getting my hair cut and been putting it off, there was no need. The Lounge and Sarah made everything seem extremely safe and normal. You’re greeted at the door with sanitiser and a personally packed mask. One time use gowns are used. The salon wasn’t busy and everyone spaced well apart. Sarah was her usually bubbly self and i forgot I was wearing a mask and enjoyed being back at the salon as usual.

So nice to see Sarah and her team after all this time. At the Lounge have managed to maintain the friendly relaxed atmosphere despite the new restrictions.

I thought the whole thing was great. My hair looks beautiful and I had enough time to sit and do some work I needed to. I was impressed by the cleanliness and COVID safety in the salon.

I was so anxious about going into a salon since they re opened but the only way to get over a fear is by facing it so I booked my appointment! When I arrived I was greeted with the staff wearing all the PPE they could and even under the face masks you could tell they were still greeting you with a smile as well as supplying hand sanitiser and a face mask so you don’t ruin your own ones. Throughout the duration of my visit I regularly watched every surface be cleaned numerous times which put my mind at ease! Sarah made me feel so comfortable and at ease and she was ready to be my hairdresser therapist and listen to me chat about rubbish! By the end of it I walked out of the salon feeling confident, relaxed and feeling that sense of normality that I’ve craved for the last 4 months! Thank you for not just fixing my greys and making my hair look AMAZING but allowing me to escape.

Perfect colour highlights, cut and blow dry, also the wash and head massage are excellent! Felt very safe. So good to be back!

It was amazing, as ever, but an extra delight as this is the first haircut since lockdown so I was unsure what to expect. It was very well organised, I felt completely safe and Sarah is the best stylist I have ever had. I came out feeling fantastic and on my way home I had two compliments about my hair! It cannot get better than that. The Lounge is one of the gems of Faversham! Thank you

Love this salon, so professional, calm and friendly. Extremely well prepared since opening under new coronavirus rules. Had a full head of foils and a reshape. I know I’m in good hands with Sarah and I couldn’t be more happy with the result.

Betsy did a fantastic job of trying to rectify my lockdown hair disaster. Having let my children do their worst (quite literally) I came out after Betsy worked her magic looking human again! Can’t thank her enough, fantastic job!

Professional cut and colour

Visited on Friday so first haircut after lockdown. All felt very safe and clean and staff welcoming as always. Thank you Sarah for another wonderful cut and blow dry and for coping with my very thick hair. I love the new basin chairs- really relaxing !

Perfect therapy

I had my highlights done by Frankie and cut and blow dry by Cella. It was great to be back in the salon, and I felt very safe and looked after - every detail has been thought through from a safety perspective and the whole team have gone above the basic COVID-19 requirements. Credit to everyone for making it work! The atmosphere was really energetic, everyone was clearly pleased to be back and catching up with clients again.

Sarah was excellent stylist and the salon had gone to a lot of trouble to keep us all safe. Courteous service, every one was greeted immediately at the door.

First time Frankie has cut my hair (Karen used to). I do have a fairly straightforward cut as I’m a bloke, but I was told it’s actually harder to cut a man’s hair as it needs to be precise. Whatever the case I’m very pleased with my haircut today.

Great haircut. Very rigorous safety measures are applied but you are still made to feel welcome and looked after.
