I am a new customer at Shine & Emily has been cutting & colouring my hair. I have to say my hair has been in its best condition in a long time. I have used a few hairdressers & finally I have found a good one! I would highly recommended the salon to anyone. It’s a 5 star service from everyone working there when you go ?

First time coming to shine hairdressers, and cant fault them enough, great experience from start to finish! Feel very welcoming , and felt at eased. You done such a great job with my hair Alice:) I will be coming back soon for more cut and colour. Love the massage chairs I felt very relaxed getting my hair washed.

Made to feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Shine has much improved over the years. You are made to feel like a guest and not just another client. The salon has been updated giving you a feeling of light and space. One of the highlights for me was the lovely electric seats at the wash basin so you can elevate your legs whilst enjoying your hair wash and massage. Zoe did amazing job with my highlights and really transformed my hair. I love it. She blow dried and styled my hair beautifully for my night out and still looked good two days later. I had a lovely relaxing morning at the salon and highly recommend it. Leigh and her team have worked hard to make their guests feel special when they arrive to the moment they leave, which makes this salon exceptional. Well done all xx

Tonsurephobia is a fear of getting a haircut. I have suffered since childhood when my mother kept my hair really short and I was referred to as a boy. This inspired me to become a hairdresser and own two award winning salons with stylists I trusted on tap. Move on a number of years and I’m a Trichologists and struggle to find a stylist. Until now. From my first contact via their web site to my initial consultation I was impressed with their product knowledge. Emily was suggested as the right stylist for me so I booked. With great trepidation I arrived for my appointment and was greeted very warmly. I have in the past found salons an intimidating place, not so at shine. After an in-depth consultation the task of giving me the hair I wanted began. It was a long process, 4 hours, as expected, during which time I was offered plenty of refreshments and magazines. The end result was not only do I love the colour but Emily gave me a fantastic blow dry and if you knew my hair it’s a feat in itself and has beaten many stylist before.
I am now looking forward to my second visit and using the generous discount voucher.

Consistently first rate with regard to the colour and cut, and always getting compliments about my hair. All down to the expertise of Zoë, Grace and Scarlett. Friendly and welcoming with lovely staff, the best hair salon in Kent as far as I’m concerned.

Charlie was really lovely and friendly, gave me great advice on how to look after my hair. She cut and styled it perfectly. I’ll definitely be booking in with her again! Thank you Charlie!

It was a really hot day, so the air conditioning was really welcome. Emily has been cutting my hair for over 4 years. All the Guys that work there are really friendly.

Consistently good service and results every time I come to get my hair done.

I first came to the salon after moving into the area. On my 1st visit Lorraine offered me advice on my style and colour as I was stuck in a bit of a rut with my hair. I can honestly say I went home with one of the best haircuts I had ever had and it was so easy to maintain at home and I have been coming back ever since! I always enjoy my experience at the salon. Lorraine always takes the time to listen to what I want and always gives an excellent cut and colour.

Alice is attentive and warm with a real sense of how to make the experience a pleasant one. I’ve got the dream haircut and will be going back. It’s taken me a long time to find someone who I feel listens to what I wanted

I have been looking for a new hairdresser locally and saw some good reviews on Google for Shine salon. I was amazed by the level of service and thoughts put into all the small details. Charlie has been great with mu hair and guided me through every step, which I often lack in other salons. I also loved getting lovely small gift at the end (wasn’t expecting that!) and getting all the information on products used written down for me to take home. Will definitely be back!

Lorraine was very professional, listened to me and gave me thorough advice on the hairsyle i want (it is getting very near).. Lorraine and the other members i had contact with were genuinely polite, welcoming, and friendly. The head massage i received after my hair was condition was wonderful and unexpected.

I wanted to lighten my hair back to its former highlighted glory after several years of being natural with a touch of balayage. I had been feeling a bit "drab" for a while and was after a fresh new look again.
I had a great consultation with Lorraine who really listened to what I wanted and then gave me the desired look which I was after- a lovely full head of light blonde highlights which were a lovely colour, my other half was very impressed, as was I. Thankyou and see you again after my holiday :)

This is my fist time ever writing a review and attending this salon but felt compelled to do so.

My daughter and I had appointments to have our hair up as we were going to a ball. From the moment we stepped into the salon we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. The salon had a professional but relaxed atmosphere and our hair was amazing.

We will both be returning to this hairdressers.

Charlie is an absolute gem. She always has a sunny disposition and works hard to provide the results you want. The whole team makes you feel welcome and as if nothing is too much trouble.

A wonderful appointment with friendly but professional staff - great head massage. Emily was recommended & I wasn't dissapointed. I booked aheafd for another mportant appointment in November in time for my son's wedding so obviously Ii was very happy. Got a pressure of a beautiful candle too :-)

Zoe has been cutting my hair for a while now and I always leave feeling like my cut is exactly what I need. Zoe listens to my wishes and offers her expertise to make the cut perfectly suited. I’m trying to grow my hair out from a pixie cut and she has been really helpful in making the transition work at every stage. She is brilliant at her job.
Also I had to bring my 11 week old daughter to the salon for my appointment and all the staff were really accommodating and attentive to her. I appreciated that.

Lorraine always listens to what I want and gives good advice. She has been doing my hair for several years now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I am very pleased with my cut and colour today-as always.
