Excellent treatment. Therapist is kind and considerate

We brought our anxious 4-year-old into the salon for his haircut. It was recommended to cut his hair with scissors due to the noise of the clippers potentially adding to his distress. We thought this was good advice and we agreed. What we didn’t anticipate was the time it took to cut his hair - 1 hour. He was surprisingly initially very calm and accepting of the haircut until 45 minutes later when the hairdresser had to bring in another hairdresser because she said that she was struggling to cut his hair based on the fact he had a double crown. The next hairdresser was faster but there was still a lot to cut even though he had been 45 minutes in the chair. The end result is appalling. He looks as though his hair has been cut with blunt scissors. Bits of hair sticking up at the back, wedges of hair as not feathered in and choppy around the ears. He became distressed as the second hairdresser cut his hair with him complaining about the itchiness of the hair falling onto him. As he had a towel around his shoulders, she stated “you can’t possibly feel that”. They made what was initially a good experience into a very stressful situation resulting in a very amateur haircut. I would not recommend anyone to take their child who is nervous about having their hair cut to this salon. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I had a lovely experience as usual, the salon is friendly and welcoming and Danielle is just amazing. She’s incredibly skilled and I always walk out with gorgeous hair.

Having been told I would probably be admitted to hospital any time soon therefore missing my regular appointment I spoke to Vicky to explain and she arranged to do my hair the following day! She’s amazing.

I walked in and asked if I can get a cut wash toner & blow dry, Ellie was brilliant she cut my extensions exactly how I wanted them and added a fringe & more shape in, the toner tied all my hair in perfectly & the trainee was brilliant the head massage was as perfect.

Overall good experience, repeat booking with lois, does a great job, quick and efficient. Friendly and skilled.
Lovely man offered me coffee and was brushing up and checked whether i wanted any more drinks
Only negative was the usual relaxing hair wash spoiled a bit by having students learning who were quite noisy, nice to see them excited but not professional for a relaxing experience for the client.

Coffee not as good as previous years, no longer Atkinsons?

I have been going to a local salon in Morecambe for years I took a chance 3 months ago as I couldn't get booked in for a hair appointment at my local salon for a wedding. I decided to try Jo and cass in Morecambe. I loved the service and my hair so much that I decided to return today but try jo & cass in lancaster. Danielle did my hair today, I had a full head of baby lights toner and cut and styled. I really love it, she really listened to everything I wanted and did such a good job. Shes a lovely girl aswell very easy to talk to. It is definitely worth the money as you do get pampered. I will definitely be returning again. Thank you xx

My second haircut at Jo & Cass with Danielle. In my opinion a better experience and end result to the first cut as I felt Danielle got the measure of what I actually wanted and listened to my feedback from my first cut and took it all on board, I felt she was more confident going with my request for short cropped hair ( sides & back) and lots of thinning out. I’m naturally grey haired and my main request to Danielle is not to look ‘Frumpy’ . So, I’m pleased to say I’ve got a trendy, modern, individual, personalized hair cut, just what I asked for. Toyah is the only hairdresser I have ever stuck with… I don’t even live in Lancaster any more but still will make the journey. I always come away very happy with my highlights, Toyah takes her time with them (3.5 hours trip this time round!) due to me having a lot of hair, and lots of thin highlights being best. Also I went shorter with the cut, and Toyah did this with care and styled it with care.

My haircut with Lindsay yesterday was lovely. Lindsay was great to chat to and I was very happy with my haircut. All in all a lovely, relaxing experience, a great start to the weekend!

I had a lovely time with wonderful service from the desk staff to the excellent Bradley who washed my hair and advised me expertly in what products to use from the excellent range provided. Danielle out sod herself as usual and gave me natural looking shimmers and a beautifully sharp Bob. Everyone warm, friendly and welcoming! A lovely break and gorgeous hair! Thank you everyone!!
