Through recommendation from a few people I know I took the plunge and tried out walnut salons for the first time on Thursday 21st 2016. I was not disappointed from a consultation previous to my appointment to the actual colour & finish. Abby did a fantastic job, I was totally blown away with the results, she transformed my hair, she listened to exactly what I wanted and she didn't disappoint. I can not fault this salon every member of the team were very friendly and nothing was ever too much. The reception staff were brilliant and I had a hassle free time booking my appointment, Kirsty on reception was very knowledgable and very helpful. I will be visiting the salon again soon and have made more appointments. Overall this salon fantastic. Thank you Walnut Salons Halsall.

I've been coming to Walnut Salon for years and always leave feeling great whether it's my nails I've had done or my hair. Staff are lovely and friendly, Lizzie always does an amazing job with my extremely thick crazy hair.

I had a wonderful experience at Halsall Walnut Salon. Staff were friendly, chatty and professional. Very happy with my colour and cut.
Had heard good things about the salon and I was really pleased. I was booked in with Abby, she was really friendly and I loved the cut and how she explained what she planned to do next. Also had eyebrow wax (really sorry forgot the girls name) but again great service and friendly, all staff were friendly.
I followed Abby to Walnut Salon when she joined the team as she is the best hairdresser my daughters and I have ever had.
The salon is lovely, modern, spotlessly clean and everyone is very friendly.

I went here on a recommendation for a cut and blow. I was very pleased with the quality of the service, friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the salon.
My daughter came here to have her colour done she is very fussy about her hair and was over the moon with what Lizzie had done so recommended her to me. I have short hair and it's difficult to find a hairdresser who can style short hair but I was delighted with the results Lizzie is fab ,will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends and family X

All the stylists are extremely professional, welcoming and very efficient. I have been having my hair done at Walnuts for nearly 2 years and I am always extremely satisfied whoever does it. Generally, Lizzie does my hair and she is great!

I first decided to make an appointment with Walnut Salons, Ormskirk after seeing some great pictures on their Instagram page. I was advised over the phone to have a colour consultation and patch test at the salon before booking an appointment. I had a great chat with Danielle who listened to exactly what I wanted to do with my colour. I booked a colour and style with Wendy a few days later and was thrilled with how my hair turned out. Lovely friendly staff with lots of experience and advice. I have already made my next appointment! ????

I visited your Halsall branch on Saturday 2nd April. First impression was ok, however the set of acrylic nails that I have had done are starting to lift already?
Secondly I had been given £30.00 in gift vouchers for my birthday, upon paying for my nails (£33.00 for a set that is already lifting?) to be told that the vouchers have been purchased in your Rainford branch and we don't accept them. No where on your website does it state about using gift vouchers in another branch. I was made to stand in your reception area with my daughter for around 10 minutes while your receptionist rang around trying to find out what to do.
Overall very poor service and will not be recommending your business to anyone in the future.
Hi, it's Amanda, the new receptionist at Walnut Salins who dealt with your bill at the end of your service. I am really sorry that you were so unhappy with your Walnut visit. Being new to the Salon I didn't want to make a mistake particularly with a payment therefore when you presented me with a voucher I had not seen before I had no option but to ask you to wait whilst I asked the Salon Manager how to process it. When I asked if it was ok for you to wait you did say yes which I was grateful for as their were a number of clients at reception arriving and leaving all at once. I then explained that I needed to call our Rainford branch and was very discreet and efficient in doing so. After the phonecall I apologised again for your wait and thanked you for your understanding due to me being new and I said as I hadn't seen the vouchers before I needed to ensure they were OK to put through on our system as our vouchers in Halsall have different codes on and a valid date/expiry date on them. I accepted the vouchers
Very impressed by Walnut Salons. Had a lovely cut and finish today with Abby. Everyone was very friendly and it had a lovely atmosphere. Abby chatted with me first about how best to style my hair and I was really pleased with the result. I will defiantly be returning.

Nicola has been cutting my hair for a number of years and I'm always delighted with it. Often people comment on what a 'good cut' it is - the latest was a receptionist in Sri Lanka!
Second time at Walnut. I love my new hair thanks to Abby! I was unsure going shorter but it looks and feels great! Abby's really friendly and made me feel comfortable...already booked with her for a colour next time
Have had my nails done by Darcey and hair by Abby, both were really good and was very pleased with the results. Shellac nails still good as new three weeks later! Will definitely book again.
