Service and manner was great but my hair cut is very bad for the price I paid

Hi I came in for a haircut that my partner had surprised me for Christmas being a very good salon and expensive. My hair cut is not very good in fact it is very poor and a very poor standard considering it was cut by the lady who has the salon so top senior stylist I was too polite to comment at the time as I didn't know what really to say as it was a present for me from my partner I didn't want to seem ungrateful but as I have got home my partner has taken pictures to show me the back and more detail of my cut I'm really not happy it's really poor quality for the amount it has cost

Wendy and Katy have cut and coloured my hair for nearly 20 years and in all that time I have never been disappointed. They lift my spirits at every visit...always professional....always going the extra mile and always make me feel special. Great salon....great staff.

Stylist Lauren was very nice, chatty and professional. I felt very comfortable and I enjoyed myself. The lady who washed my hair was also very nice.

Amanda colours my hair and Michelle cuts it. They are both attentive and listen to what I like. I am really happy with my cut and colour. All the staff are friendly.

Jo cut my hair last week, my curls are refreshed, the life has been restored! Very happy indeed!

Great experience all the way. Not the type of guy who normally looks forward to a haircut, but that changes when going to Tony&Guy. Friendly welcome followed by a beverage offer, and once you know it you're in a massage chair enjoying a head massage. Of course the main reason for the visit is the hair cut. Jo and I always discuss what to do, she's very understandable and we have always a great conversation during the cut. All staff is friendly and especially Jo is a great hair dresser as she always succeed in cutting my hair better then I could expect. I'll be back!

With short hair there's always a chance you'll end up a touch shorter than you wanted hence hair cut day can be stress day
No probs with Chloe and even if when home you think Oh there's a bit of my fringe I'd like a bit shorter or angled No probs It's all sorted with a smile Stress button not even pressed That's Why for me and I would hazard a guess most women given the chance would plump for T&G over any other salons

Jo does such a fantastic job every time I visit. She really listens to what I want and I always leave feeling great.

Another brilliant cut by Jo, feel very at ease with her doing it - and she lets me just zone out and almost snooze!

Would like to say the staff at this branch are wonderful, service is always prompt and with a smile and the stylist always listens to want I want.

Soraya at Preston Toni And Guy is the best stylist. She is attentive, professional and very good with a pair of scissors. Definitely the reason I keep coming back.

I'm such an anxious person but when Chloe (or any of the wonderful stylists ) cuts my hair I know I'm in safe hands Ok it might seem pricey but it's always amazing and lasts perfectly till it needs recutting
I've got short hair and however long it grows till the next cut it still looks good and stylish
Anxiety at a minimum Worth it's weight in gold

Michelle is friendly, professional and always gives my hair a great cut.

A lovely stylist gave me a wash cut and blow dry yesterday. I was literally in and out within 40 minutes and was so pleased with the experience and result. Thank you.

I was made very welcome and not once did anyone ask me where I was going on my holidays, perfect job ever time , I wouldn't go anywhere else always awesome, many thanks.

It was my second visit of TONY&GUY this year and I cried after I left the salon. My previous experience was amazing. This time the stuff didn't meet my expectations at all. Washing my hair with a tiniest bit of shampoo which was really irritating and made my whole head itchy. The lady who was cutting my hair had a terribly long nails which where digging into my head and apart from that she managed to pull my hair with a brush really rough. My hair is long and I am used to proper pull it when brushing it myself but what she was doing was upsetting and absolutely unprofessional. I will repeat again, my previous experience was totally different and I was truly impressed by how skilled one can be. I wanted a volume and my previous haircut to be kept. Instead I left looking like a wet chicken with my hair absolutely flat. I know it was late and 8pm isn't exactly a time to be creative about someone's hair but I won't be coming back for sure. I do apologise for the negative review and wish I could say something nice instead.

Cut and blow dry with Jo. Love the cut and she styled it exactly as I wanted. Good product advice as well.

It is only the 2nd time Laura has cut my hair but already I trust her implicitly her eye for detail is incredible and today my 2nd visit was a transformation step into the new me, so now I have to grow it for 7 weeks cannot wait

She is easy to talk to and offers her expert opinion which is what I want.
