I have been going to Akwaa for a long time now and sheusonrof the best by far! She takes her time, she is precise & she always listens to what I want doing to my nails and I trust her 100% with my nail designs! She puts a smile on face and she’s just so lovely to talk to and makes you feel at home and comfortable... hence I always go back to her! Deffo worth the visit if you want your nails rocking and for a good chat & laugh x

A pleasing experience - competent and friendly service...

Shannon is such a lovely therapist! She asked me what style I prefer my lashes to be applied in & when I asked what she thinks would be best suited to my eye shape she said cat eye & I’m glad I trusted her judgement! She did an amazing job & she ran over slightly because of me talking away! Got to know how much of a beautiful soul she is & I will definitely be coming back in! Aftercare was explained perfectly & she really made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole treatment! I never ever write reviews but she’s an absolute credit to your team & to Beauty Box as a whole! Thank you so much for my lashes Shannon! You’re an absolute star!

Emma did a fab job. She made me feel so relaxed. I do struggle with back ache and I feel a whole lot better now!

Exactly the manicure I wanted

My daughter had her eyelashes done, sadly, my daughter said the lady who has done them did not make her feel comfortable, and when she tried to talk to her about the sizing of her lashes which she felt were to small, she abruptly told her her lashes were in terrible condition! My daughter also said she never spoke to her for 2 hours during her eyelashes and she felt uncomfortable and at times rude.
I have treated me and my daughter to our nails to be gelled afterwards for her birthday, the other girls who did our nails were amazing, friendly and I can’t fault the service from them.
However, it’s a shame about the eyelash treatment for my daughter i am very disappointed with the lack of communication and also rudeness to her so I won’t recommend.

Enjoyable experience yesterday but after being swayed to paying more for the stronger paint on my pedicure it has come off the little toe within 24 hours ??

Akwaa made me feel relaxed and confident in the procedure and explained everything that she was doing .
Lovely out going lady, made me feel like a new person walking out of the salon .

Lovely clean salon, the staff were welcoming, friendly and informative. I felt very safe with all of the covid precautions in place. the treatments are fairly priced and I would definitely visit again.

Had my first nail session with Akwaa who was super friendly. I came in without a clear nail design so I showed her some inspo and she came up with a bespoke minimalist nail design that was absolutely perfect. Akwaa made me feel really comfortable and was really patient with me (I've never had my nails done and don't know too much about nail styles etc.) Overall I had a very pleasant experience and I will definitely be coming again to get my nails done!
