This salon is probably the best one I have ever been to. The staff are welcoming friendly and super talented in all aspects of hairdressing and styling.
Today, I wanted some balayage in my hair.
I knew that I didn't have to say much about what I wanted, as I was sure Mihaela would know exactly what to do and what would suit me. As always, she was spot on, and created a lovely colour. An expert trim followed, and I was very happy with my hair.
These are just a few of the many reasons why I have been going to this salon for around 12 years now!

Excellent on all aspects

Alicia has again achieved an another amazing transformation with my hair. She is an expert with curly hair- I can’t recommend her more strongly..

I’ve been coming to Yan’s for over 15 years and then made the mistake of trying a closer salon for a restyle. Thankfully Alicia put a bad cut great and exactly how I wanted it. Always feel really as ease and the wash and massage is very relaxing. Definitely won’t make the mistake of going elsewhere again!

I had such a great time today with Angel, who did plaits for me and tied my vintage handkerchiefs on the ends to hold them together. She completely got it. I learnt from her too … told me how to dampen the hair down before plaiting and to use a bit of product to get the effect. Just loved it and am so grateful to Angel.
Sam is my usual fabulous stylist, with whom I always manage to set a challenge but she doesn’t seem to mind … I love that we can experiment together and that we mutually consider my hair an ongoing project, which is fun and exciting.
Today though, when Sam wasn’t available, the very lovely Angel responded to my telephone call this morning and my request for plaits. I’m not currently able to easily manage them myself right now, due to muscular shoulder and arm pain restricting my movement. I just fancied a bit of a treat today. Actually, I had already mentioned to Sam that I enjoy wearing plaits and she advised that it would be no problem for the salon to help me.
Warmth and welcome from this salon is for me always there and for those I’ve recommended.

As always a lovely experience. My stylist Bella never fails to tame my wild hair. Since my first cut at Yan my hair has improved immensely. Bella always listens and gives good advice. Yan has become my regular i would definitely recommend. Even the hair wash is great very relaxing massage included and comfortable massage chair.

A very friendly Salon. Alicia always cuts and colours my hair just how I like it. Aveda products are lovely.

This was my 1st visit at yanhair and I am extremely happy with my haircut. Mihaela understood what I was interested in perfectly and styled my hair according to my hair type/texture! I am not going anywhere else for haircut in Leicester now! Also, everyone is really nice and polite at the salon:)

Unlike many women I prefer to go in - have my usual and come out! No phaffing and no pampering! 🤣 Danielle always does what I want AND gives me a haircut that people still compliment me on!! 5 star service for my tastes!! Was going to a wedding today so Alicia got me in very early and did a lovely job with my hair. Just what I wanted.

A pleasant experience as usual. Professional and friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Great head massage during my hair wash! I felt very relaxed after. Very pleased with the end result as always 😊
