Yan Hair

My only complaint was I arrived before 6pm for my appointment and had to wait another 15 minutes. I had a long, bob hair cut with Michaela. I haven't seen her before, but she was extremely good. I found her to be very attentive, quiet and friendly. Overall she did a very good job and I am pleased with the result. I would definitely use Michaela again.

I happened to be wandering past and saw they had a 'drop-by' offer for the day. I walked in and was offered a spot straight away for a cut and finish for a fantastic price. My hairdresser Michaela was lovely and did a fantastic job -very pleased with my stroll down queens road!

First time at Yan's. Lucky I made the phone call today and lucky I was given an appointment an hour later with Mihaela. I was impressed, not least by her composure after I'd told her it had been two years since my last haircut. I'm pretty sure that it was obvious to her though, that I'd been hacking at it myself from time to time, and she didn't laugh at that, not out loud anyway. Mostly though, she did a very good job on my very "bad hair". Make sure you keep her at Yan.

Always made to feel welcome & given full attention. Everyone professional & welcome. Special mention to Kate who is so upbeat its infectious. Jess is attentive & Yan is always up on the latest products & trends. Would recommend to everyone

I made a snap booking one night and was thoroughly pleased with my hair cut and stylist.

This is my third visit and my first colour, my stylist Jess has been so helpful and worked with me to get a great cut and a bold but sophisticated colour. I always get great service and advice with every visit. All the staff are very friendly and professional,the atmosphere is happy and busy yet very relaxing, especially the head massage with a hair wash! Overall the salon makes a haircut an enjoyable experience, I go away feeling pampered and polished!

I had mihaela...first time i visited yan...she was lovely, very friendly, smiling and very attentive and listened to what i wanted and offered products and style accordingly.
Will definitely visit again.

A lovely experience from start to finish. Friendly, helpful staff who communicate every step of the way with you. I was greeted with magazines and a cappuccino, then a thorough consultation with Yan who really got a good understanding of what I wanted from the appointment, and gave advice as to how we could achieve it. I had a relaxing massage during the hair wash (massage chair a bonus!) and then the best haircut I've had in years. Yan was meticulous in making sure the cut was perfect and I'm really happy with the result. Another lovely girl styled my hair in loose curls and gave me some pointers on how I could achieve the look at home. The Aveda products are lovely too. Great salon atmosphere, would highly recommend. Booked online and received 25% discount as it was my first visit but I'm so happy with my hair I will be coming back. I've paid twice the price in London salons for nowhere near as good a service so I'm really pleased I tried somewhere different.

I was really impressed with the service I received. My hair dresser is always very attentive.
My only issue is the fact that my hair looks stripy - I hoped the highlights would be thinner and blend a little better. It's more noticeable when I tie my hair up.

The hair wash was not that good. As soon as the shampoo was on without massage or even rubbing in it was just washed off, twice. I felt I had not had my hair washed. Pricey for not a proper hair wash.

Been going to Yan's for years and, through numerous styles, they have been consistently good. Customer service is a priority for Yan and Rob and the staff are unfailingly welcoming and helpful. Excellent Aveda products and great professional skills and advice.

Just had my hair cut by the wonderful Chantelle. As always, she was friendly, professional and made a great job of my haircut. All staff treat customers with respect and courtesy. They use high quality Aveda products and take time to make sure that you have a positive experience. Would highly recommend.

I was supposed to and was told I would definately get 25% off my first visit.(It's an offer they have on at the moment) They asked me about 3 times and I said yes this is my first visit. When I came to pay they charged me the full amount! Wasn't going to say anything in a full salon! Hmmm not impressed! Aside from this my hair is fabulous and everyone seemed very pleasant.

I never thought much of going to the hairdresser. I obviously saw it as a treat but that was it. Everyon at Yan treats you amazingly. You can havr your hair washed with a choice of messages. They offer you drinks. Most importantly, that pay such great attention to your hair. My hair has never been treated with such care and respect. Was a bit pricey at first, but it sure is worth the money. Also, you can find some pretty good offers. Can't wait for my hair to grow so I can get it cut again, and who knows, maybe even something extra!

I received amazing treatment from all Yans staff expecially Nicole who coloured and cut my hair. I was given coffee X2, magazines to browse through. And all given with a smile. I took my daughter (age 5) for her first real cut and style to Yans and was extremely impressed with the service she received! My daughter was slightly nervous when we first arrived but the wonderful and professional staff made her feel so at ease. My daughter had her hair cut by stylist Amber. Amber was brilliant with my daughter (and myself) and is a real asset to Yans. I could not be happier with the service we received. Thank you x

Excellent service from Chantelle - always listens to what I want and does a good cut. However I was disappointed with the hair wash and head massage - a young bloke with facial hair and glasses did mine and he spent most of the te massaging my ears! It also felt like he kept falling asleep! Other than that, great as always.

I was considering changing my style slightly and the stylist encouraged me and made helpful suggestions.

Had a really good experience today. All staff great but really disappointed that having paid £39 in November that I was charged £48 today. Not sure I can afford such a price hike. Pam

Been going to Yan for 4 years now. Had a few different stylists all great at their jobs. Very friendly atmosphere and always a pleasure to visit.

I visited the salon for the first time today and am very happy with my experience there. I was treated like a guest by friendly staff who were happy to chat or be quiet when I did. I found it relaxing. Amber, my stylist, was also friendly and did an excellent job. Very happy. Will come again
