Shear Desire

Took my son who is 15 months to this hair salon today after trying several local salons and being left with him having half a hair cut and banned from one previously because he became difficult. As soon as we walked in we was greeted with a friendly hello and a smile the hair dresser came over and played with my son and put him at ease why we discussed how I wanted his hair. We went over to the chair and she knew the gowns cause my son distress so she didn't put one on him which made such a diffrence (we have previously been to salons where he was forced to wear one) she chatted to him and gave him a brush to play with while she cut his hair. he didn't kick off once the whole time she acknowledged him and played with him making him feel at ease. If he became a bit uncomfortable she stopped let him calm down before she carried on she had all the time in the world and patience's for my son I have booked in again the service was fab and its the only time that my son has ever felt comfortable and sat still for a hair cut and im certain its because they made him feel at ease. He now has a perfect hair cut and im so pleased with the service and the cut. Thank you

I had my eyelashes tinted & lifted, eyebrows defined and some waxing done today with Alice. She was extremely professional, friendly & I am over the moon with the results!! Well done ShearDesire, not only do I regularly have my hair done with you girls but I’ll definitely be booking in for all my beauty needs x

What a brilliant salon! I had my appointment with Lorna who is lovely. I went in with a lot of ideas of what style and colour I wanted (totally opposite to what I currently had) and as usual Sheardesire created just what I was looking for. All the staff are helpful and so friendly, I spent a total of 5hrs there and it was a lovely experience from start to finish. Nothing is too much for this salon and it’s so nice that all the staff really care about each and every client.

I’ve been going to Steph since I was 14 to get my hair done and I have remained loyal because she always does a brilliant job and is a great converser!

Now she’s opened up the beauty rooms, it’s even better! Alice is amazingly friendly and so gentle but precise! She only wants the best for her customers and that clearly comes through! She had converted me to having eyelash extensions forever. #fluffylashesforever

Steph is fabulous at hair and gives excellent customer service highly recommended and the beauty salon is also excellent.

Alice is a skilled and competent beautician. She is always professional, friendly and makes you feel at ease. Her eyelash extension skills in particular are second to none ! Well done Sheardesire in setting up this gem of a salon in Shepshed and having Alice in it!

Molly my hairdresser is always takes care to ensure that I'm not kept waiting. I'm always offered a drink. I have a scalp problem she is always careful and aware of it. Excellent cut and blow.

I changed from my regular salon in Loughborough I had been going to for 5 years and best decision I have made!! Alice is a very competent highly skilled beautician and has a lovely way if making you feel relaxed and comfortable. She realky wants her customer to be happy with their treatment. 5 stars all the way for me!!

First time at this salon. Recommended by friend. I wasnt disappointed as lovely and friendly staff and Lorna took great care to ensure my hair was exactly as I wanted it. Have therefore already booked for January.

Steph has just cut and blow dried my hair with the instruction to 'make it look lovely, bearing in mind how bad I am at doing my hair'. She has made it look wonderful, whilst making me feel pampered. She always listens, knows her customers well, and is the best hairdresser I have had. So glad I was introduced to her!
I also pampered myself by getting my nails done in the new beauty room, and was made to feel so special. The ladies were lovely and my nails look fabulous. Will definitely be booking in again!

Went along yesterday to have my crazy brows sorted out!! Alice was lovely from the outset and did a great job with my unruly brows. She was friendly and welcoming and took her time to make sure my brows were perfect before I left! Thank you Alice ... see you again soon!
