I went in to the salon for a complete colour transformation. After box dyeing my hair for 12+ years with blue/black I wasn’t sure I’d be able to get much lift out of the colour. I wasn’t familiar with many of the hair dressing terms to explain what it was I wanted, so I came armed with a few photos and just a description “I’d like some honey chocolate hair!” Kate was so great and helped put into words what it was we could achieve in one session based on my hair and was so tentative making sure we were going to achieve the final look I was hoping for. She took her time and I felt really looked after. The result was so gorgeous, my hair has beautiful tones running through it now which has given it a lovely warm texture. She styled it expertly at the end and taught me how I could continue to achieve that same look with my hairdryer and straighteners at home, she talked me through the product that would keep the colour the best and I look forward to my next session. Thanks so much Kate! The salon was very covid safe and I would highly recommend. All the staff were really warm and welcoming *****

I got my nails done on Friday at 4pm and asked for a french manicure. I hadn’t really looked at the nails up close before leaving however when I got home I’d realised the manicure had been done really poorly - my cuticles were very, very messy as was the nail polish. The lines for the french design were not straight and overall the nails did not look good. I wish I had taken a photo however I’d removed them pretty much as soon as I got home.
Was overdue due to lockdown and Michael has given me a lovely cut as always. Everyone in the salon is lovely and friendly and professional.

Stylist was rushing to get things done, regretfully, it took a tool on the service. First of all, the experience was very painful, stylist wasn't gentle at all. Dry brushing my curly hair damaged them a lot. Even the wash hurt and I am convinced no conditioner was used as the hair felt terrible. I asked for very basic cut - trimming, just a bit of layers and shorter front. I don't know where the layers went but I can't see them really, framing (front) is crooked and looks really, really bad. It will require either amendment or constant styling to hide the flaw. Not once during the cut I was asked if I like the length and the overall look. I was only asked once when my hair was dried and 'styled'. When I say what I didn't like and I saw the way my hair are being cut again (reminder: dry hair with a lot of styling products on it), I couldn't bear it so I said it's fine and asked to leave it as I didn't want the stylist to continue the cut. I think the styling was done extremely poorly and such service shouldn't have place in professional salon. If only I could show you the photos... Somehow my hair are as damaged as they never been before. After appointment they are super dry, I couldn't get rid of the products used for styling and my endings are more damaged that they were. Maybe if the stylist didn't rush that much and take time to do the job decently my review would be different. I don't know how can anyone fail in such simple request.
