I’ve always been so scared of dying my hair but my greys got to a point where I was so self conscious about them I had no choice. I walked into the salon one afternoon and asked for advice. Since then, I haven’t looked back. Michael always colours it exactly how I want and the cut is the best I’ve ever had at any salon! Their COVID protocols are also perfect to make clients feel safe. Great haircut just what I asked for. Michael spent a long time cutting my hair despite the fact that it was 9pm before all salons were to close at midnight. One of the best haircuts I''ve had. Highly recommend this salon . I've been coming for 2 years now and like the fact that your stylist gives you a consultation, cuts,colours,shampoos and blow dries your hair.

Love my wash cut and blowdry, and feel so much more confident after stepping out of the salon! Atmosphere in the salon is always really relaxed and friendly, and the PPE measures in the place are excellent. Very reassuring and felt very safe throughout my appointment

After consulting with two other salons, I settled on Michael Franks as they seemed the most professional. Due to lockdown I have not had my hair coloured for more than six months! We decided to work with the grey and other tones that had started to grow out, blending it in and covering up the hideous colour jobs from past Hairdressers.
Michael did a job to be really proud of. He knew exactly which technique to use, in comparison to other “colour experts” who really were not sure at all what to do with my hair.
It is fair to say that my hair is a challenge. However I never thought I would be quite as happy with it as I am today having left the salon. It looks very professional and sleek really making a silk purse out of a pigs ear!
You get what you pay for. But this salon is only marginally more expensive than some of the others, and certainly cheaper than many other ‘top names’. Overall it was great value for money, great communication and a good experience under what are trying Circumstances at the moment.
