After consulting with two other salons, I settled on Michael Franks as they seemed the most professional. Due to lockdown I have not had my hair coloured for more than six months! We decided to work with the grey and other tones that had started to grow out, blending it in and covering up the hideous colour jobs from past Hairdressers.
Michael did a job to be really proud of. He knew exactly which technique to use, in comparison to other “colour experts” who really were not sure at all what to do with my hair.
It is fair to say that my hair is a challenge. However I never thought I would be quite as happy with it as I am today having left the salon. It looks very professional and sleek really making a silk purse out of a pigs ear!
You get what you pay for. But this salon is only marginally more expensive than some of the others, and certainly cheaper than many other ‘top names’. Overall it was great value for money, great communication and a good experience under what are trying Circumstances at the moment.

Callum was welcoming and polite, he was also insightful, helpful and made me feel relaxed and confident about the whole process of my hair appointment, he took his time to make sure I left the salon feeling confident and very happy with my freshly cut and highlighted hair. Phenomenal salon and exceptional client service. I've been coming to the salon for nearly 2-3 years now and I'm always pleased with the result. Thanks to Michael I always feel reborn and frankly speaking I couldn't imagine myself getting my hair done by someone else but him. I get compliments from my friends which certainly boosts my confidence level. He's exceptionally knowledgeable, talented yet friendly to approach to and will always ensure that you are satisfied with the final outcome. Furthermore, I must say I'm very impressed with the covid control procedure that the salon provides. Complying with all the Covid-19 requirements in the salon substantially helps me to feel safe yet welcome at the same time. Overall, positive experience and I would highly recommend to everyone. If I could I would give 6 stars :)
