Great service as always
I had a full head colour and blow dry today. Michael listened to what I wanted and made some excellent suggestions to make my colour extra special! I love it and my hair is looking the best it ever has following my recent hair cut with him. It’s amazing to go into the salon with the confidence that I know my hair will be great!!! I can’t recommend Michael highly enough and all of the other staff are lovely and attentive too. I’ve already booked my next visit!
Absolutely brilliant, love coming to this place! The customer service is amazing, always taking your coat, offering drinks, great chat every time and i always walk out loving my hair!

Firstly, I was made to wait 15mins whilst ***** finished off a previous client’s hair but then she took time to take photographs of her clients hair before coming over to me. On our consultation with the sun in my eyes (before ***** quite curtly dropped the blind down for me), I explained what I wanted with my blow dry - curly, bouncy and lots of volume and I specifically said how I wanted my fringe blow drying. The end result was nothing like I asked, it was flat with a distinct lack of curls and as for the fringe falling into my face, it was the complete opposite and instead was combed back! I wasn’t impressed but as this was during my lunch hour and due to the fact that ***** had been running late, I had no choice but to leave the salon as was! ***** was lacking any friendliness or interest in me as a client. Thank goodness for the lovely guy on the reception who tried his best to make me feel better. I explained that I wasn’t happy with it but that I had no more time for them to put it right. I was due out that night straight from work so was unable to redo my hair so had to go out feeling totally unhappy with it. It was a total mess, worst blow dry I have had in a very long time and I should have saved myself some money and done it myself as I would have done a much better job of it. I won’t be going back to this salon and I will not be recommending it to anyone.

Thank you for posting your feedback as we are always dedicated to giving our clients the sort of experience they expect and the sort that we expect.
We are deeply disappointed to have read you have had a bad experience with us and we can only apologise for this.
I was in the middle of investigating your appointment as I did receive notes on the fact you were unhappy when you left the salon, but as you have messaged on here I will reply directly to this post with our response.
Firstly, I do apologise for you being seen 15 minutes late into your appointment especially as (although we encourage our stylists to get pictures of their work to promote themselves) this should never be at the expense of a client waiting as it is easy to get someone else to take a photo, so again for that I offer no excuses and do apologise. We will be re-briefing this again to all of our team.
Our salon does have a lot of windows so there are areas of it that does mean the low sun can come into the salon and from what you said it seems that when the stylist became aware of the fact the sun was in your eyes, they did indeed close the blinds to avoid this.
I believe it was during the consultation that you said to the stylist that you were in a rush and needed to be out of the salon due to being on your lunch break, our appointments are set to timings where enough time is given to ensure our client can receive the proper end result and allow the stylist the appropriate time to carry out what is required. What really should have happened which obviously didn't in this case was the stylist saying she would not be able to do it in time for you to leave at 13:45 instead of you actually leaving the salon with something you didn't want on time. If we were aware of your time constraint on arrival we would have done our level best to place you with another member of our team that was available to get you seen to, although as you chose your team member online we would not have done this unless specifically requested.
With regards to the friendliness of the stylist, this is not the feedback we have received prior to your comments on this member of staff so I can only assume that their perceived lack of friendliness was down to the fact they were concerned about the timings and focus on getting the blow dry completed which again proves to our team that we have set timings in order to carry out our full experience and not just getting the clients hair done in a rush. So again I do apologise for this.
I am pleased on one comment of your feedback which was regarding our Front of House Manager asking how your service was as we would have done our utmost to have rectified any dissatisfaction that you had prior to leaving the salon, but we do understand in this case you had no time left for us to be able to do that.
I also note something that concerns me is that you rated the atmosphere and cleanliness as 1 star, this is not something that I have ever had feedback on before so if you are able to provide more information to me on that I would certainly like to find out your concerns.
Clearly you did not get the experience you or we wanted and although we would like to have sorted this on the day we would like to compensate you for the fact that you did not have the best of experiences.

Absolutely amazing service. The staff are all freindly and very welcoming. I went in for a wash and blow dry and came out feeling fresh and my hair a million dollars. Callum also gave me the most amazing head massage.

Great experience.Had in length consultation and felt comfortable straight away . Loved my hair from cut style and colour and products used when washing it . I had highlights also and though great I rang the next day to see if they could be toned a bit more my preference really not hairdresser error and they told me to come straight in and listened to me and changed it
straight away with no extra cost and a lovely curlyblow which they didn't have to do as really they had done a great job and any tweaking was really my preference of colour. Can't wait to go back .found a hairdresser I can make my regular finally.

Michael always takes the time to sit down and go through what I want out of the session and how I’m liking my hair, What I do with it and how it can be improved. Educating as he cuts and dries my hair without being pushy with the product selling. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my hair cuts! The salon has a lively up and coming atmosphere.

I never leave bad reviews but felt like I had to in this occasion as I was so disappointed in my blow dry. My hair doesn’t feel clean and there was damp parts at the back and underneath. I’ve had to have it redone the same day as it’s so bad. Shame as the salon is lovely and there is a good atmosphere

Absolutely love how Michael looks after my hair! Every time i leave this place my hair feels liek reborn! Netherless after few washes at home they still sits perfectly. Highly recommended!!
Unsure who my stylist was first of all was waiting 15mins for hair to be washed then the girl didn’t wash my hair very well just lightly touched after me asking for it to be scrubbed! Didn’t wrap my hair up properly so Jumper was soaking wet!
Told half way through my blow dry they needed to charge me more which wasn’t clear on booking!
Left and had to come home and dry hair again myself as wet patch in the back and shampoo or conditioner left on scalp not happy at all!

Thank you for your review; it is feedback like this that can only improve our client experience.
Firstly, we are extremely sorry and disappointed that you were not happy with the experience you had today. I can see that this is the 4th time you have visited us so I can only assume that this is not the experience you have come to expect from us and certainly not one we wished you to have.
We obviously do agree that the salon is not the biggest especially with regards to a reception/waiting area and that is exactly why we are looking to increase the size of our business with an additional venue over the coming months which will increase the entire client experience and offer many more service.
However we still believe that the service we offer in the salon should still be the best and obviously on your visit today fell short of that. I also note that we did have a large group in the salon prior to your arrival which probably did not make the overall experience for yourself the best.
With regards to your actual blow dry I can see on your previous visit you had the same as what you initially booked in for on Saturday and what disappoints us the most with what you have said is that you found out half way through your service. This goes completely against what we teach our staff to do, which is a consultation prior to the start of the service to ensure everyone knows what to expect and what the cost will be. For that I am very sorry as that was obviously not carried out.
We are also going to look at the wording of the services on Treatwell to try and alleviate this issue from happening again.
We always pride ourselves on the fact that our clients leave the salon with exactly the service they expect and what we expect. That is why prior to departure we should ask if everything was good with the service you have received although we do appreciate it is not always easy to let a disappointment known at the time. I would like to offer my apologies if it was the case that you were not asked how your service was so we could have dealt with any issues there and then and let you leave 100% satisfied.
We really appreciate your custom with us and are truly sorry for your disappointment but hope this 1 negative experience does not affect the presumably positive ones that made you choose to come back to us in the first place.

I went there to get a hair cut and my hair stylist-Aimee- spent enough time to discuss about it and to make sure to do the best and that was what she did.
This place makes me feel so comfortable. It's like I've met up with some friends for a couple of hours! Usually I find going the hairdressers quite awkward making small talk but it's not like that here at all. My hair has been amazing and I absolutely love it both times I've been there. I laugh so much when I'm there, they really make you feel at ease.

Had the lovely Michael style my hair today as he listened to what I wanted and styled it to perfection. The atmosphere and service of this salon is excellent and could not fault the staff, everybody is very welcoming. Overall, I was very happy with the results of my hair and the value definitely would recommend this salon to others.

I love coming into this salon- I never feel awkward (like you can in some hairdressers) and the atmosphere is great. I’ve had the Keratin Smooth treatment done here a few times now. I just love how manageable it makes my hair. I would highly recommend to anyone with wavy or frizzy hair.

I had my makeup done this morning by Doireann and I could not recommend her highly enough!!
I love my makeup and feel great going to the wedding today with my lashes and face on!
Doireann really listened when I asked for a natural look. She helped me to choose makeup that really suited my fair Scottish colouring. She was chatty, friendly and extremely good at what she does!

Anna painted my nails with high quality shellac, she is extremely friendly and my nails always last up to 3 weeks! Defiently recommend.
Overall great experience in this salon, had the lovely Samuel style my hair which he was very knowledgeable and listened to what way I wanted my hair done. My hair now looks the healthiest it has ever been and would highly recommend this salon as they have a great team.
