Everyone at the salon us absolutely lovely. Very friendly and attentive. Emma listens to what you want and offers advice on what works best for you without being pushy. I am quite new to the salon and would highly recommend them to anyone.

My hair wasn’t looking too bad after 8 weeks so I was delighted that I was able to get partial highlights to keep my colour fresher longer.

Excellent as usual - if I had a criticism I would say don’t scare people off with prices going so high- it is a serious treat but expensive!

The staff were fantastic and everyone was happy to help and stopped to ask if everything was okay. The staff were friendly chatty and I couldn’t have asked for a better hairdresser to have cut and style my hair!! Thank you so much Rachel!

Appointment slot was running 20 minutes late which resulted in stylist having to rush as I had a makeup appt elsewhere for an event that evening. I don’t think this left sufficient time (<45 minutes) to do my hair and I felt stressed on the day. Upon leaving the salon areas of my hair that had been pinned up fell out and required correcting by a family member. I was disappointed for the £36 paid, I’ve always had such an amazing experience at the salon previously hence my rationale for booking and paying more.

I came across the salon as I was passing by and called in on the off chance that someone was free to do an eyebrow and lip wax.

The receptionist was really helpful and they managed to accommodate me last minute which I’m so grateful for.

Rachel has done a fantastic job - my eyebrows and upper lip look and feel great again which is exactly what I wanted. She was so friendly and very professional - an asset to your company.

I was so impressed with the salon, that I’ve even booked a hair appointment for tomorrow. Can’t wait.

Marianne is not my usual stylist but I was treated the same as I always am & was equally delighted with my cut

Rachael stood in as a replacement hairdresser at the last minute. We had not met before but she did a grand job cutting and styling my hair. Like all members of staff at Chapter One Rachael is very pleasant and easy to get on with. I am a satisfied customer.

I'm less than impressed with the cut and colour I received, I didn't feel cared for or listen to, the colour is not what I wanted I also had to ask him to cut bits of hair he had missed he also took no care when cutting my hair over all, it took him only 5 minutes again rushed,
i was getting a substantial amount cut off, he also didn't bother with the fringe i had to ask him to cut it and no care was taken with this either it's a mess when straight.
Neither did he bother to blow dry my hair properly as in straightening before curing it was frizzy and just awful.
It feels uneven. He was also late in taking me and the whole experience felt rushed.
I've been trying to lighten my hair for sometime and he has put a dark colour all through with some lighter pieces.
I will be calling the salon when I feel better to have someone have a look at it.
Overall I'm most disappointed with the experience at the salson yesterday I spent alot of money to have my hair lightened I just cant believe how dark he has dyed it.
I didn't have a relaxing or enjoyable time at this salon.

What a lovely experience I had today from when I entered the salon I was greeted with a friendly face. I was offered a range of coffees and juices while having my consultation with Heather who certainly knows her stuff. Heather went over my colour and asked how I wanted my hair cut. I had an amazing latte and some caramel shortcake which was lovely The leather recliner massage seats where you get your hair washed as amazing. My colour and cut was just how I wanted so happy with it. Overall it was a fantastic experience. Can’t wait to go back again.
