I have been coming to Contemporary for many years. Robbie always listens to what you want and never disappoints. Beth the young girl gave my hair a lovely wash with massage and was friendly. Love having my hair done here and can't recommend it enough.

As always Louise was professional and provided a good haircut. She always gives me choices and suggestions and is enthusiastic about short hair styles. Louise is a lovely woman, complimentary, funny and an excellent listener. There are no bad hairdressers there and over the 20 years I've visited the salon I've never had a bad haircut but Louise is the best.

In my opinion Robbie is THE best hairdresser. He is meticulous hence the reason I always prefer to book with him. He delivers a great experience each and every time and I am never disappointed with the result!

Jessica always does a fantastic job with my colour and cut. It speaks volumes that a stylist from another salon comments about how good my roots and my colour always look when I bump into him. Jess is so professional but very friendly too.

I have been coming to this salon for the past year. I have to say what fabulous service it has always been. My stylist Michele is always very professional and clearly knowledgeable about hairdressing. I can honestly say that I have received the best quality hair cuts here. They listen to what you want and advice you expertly. The complementary massage and drinks are a great and welcome addition. I am a true convert and won't go anywhere else ????

The down side of attending this salon is that I have become to expect a five star service. The up side is that i’m never disappointed. Well done to all the team for doing a fantastic job. ????

Another excellent experience at COntemporary thanks to Macey. a lovely shampoo as well.

Macey is really noce, its like you've known her for years as the conversation just flows. She really understands what i want from my style choice and provides great recommendations to what will work best. I love coming here for my appointments. The young lady who was working alongside Macey was also brilliant with me and was focused on making sure everything was done professionally but with a personal touch too.

Claire is quite simply the best hair stylist ever! Wonderfully creative, friendly and professional; she always takes time to put me at ease and truly understand what I need/want, and always with a smile! No wonder she’s won so many awards! This from the guy who for years would rather go to the Dentist than a hairdresser - I now regularly make the 40 mile round trip, and look forward to my visits! I can’t recommend Claire, and the fantastically friendly salon team, highly enough!

Really good cut as always, I’ve spent decades hating getting my hair cut but I always enjoy the experience at Contemporary Guisbrough, Jess always cuts my hair.

My little girl Hattie had this to say about her appointment with Robbie today:

“I had a head and shoulder massage that was good. The girl who washed my hair was very nice (Abi) I like Robbie too. He cut my hair nice and straight.My Gramdma enjoyed her drink .She had coffee and I had hot chocolate.”

I paid my second visit to this salon today! It's a 40 minute drive for me but totally worth it! I love the fact that Robbie really seems to get what I have (super thick hair) and what I want (not such super thick hair) and how best to achieve it. For the first time in MANY years I haven't left the salon and immediately gone home and restyled it! Honestly, I can highly, highly recommend Contemporary salon!
