As always I had a lovely experience at the salon from the lovely hair wash and massage with Emily to Alan sorting out a problem with my hair leaving me yet again with a gorgeous haircut! Would highly recommend contemporary. ?‍♀️❤️

I have been meaning to write a review since we moved back to Guisborough 5 years ago!!!
Jess has been doing my hair since then and I would like to think of her as a friend not just my hairdresser. I love the way she styles and colour's my hair and I never have any complaints. The atmosphere in the shop is lovely and relaxed and I would recommend it to anyone

Luke was great from start to finish with the extensions for my daughter. She loved them and especially when he waved it for her too. She's looking forward to sixth form with her new hair. Luke gets her and her creative style which is wonderful.

Always listens to what I would like doing and adds her own suggestions which are always great, lovely chatty person

Totally brilliant experience from start to finish. Louise was so lovely and listened to what I was after. She advised me to use an alternative shampoo and how to grow out my hair a little without losing style. We had a gorgeous chat. I even had a welcome massage and a massage during my second shampoo! Thank you!

Another lovely appt with Louise, i can go in feeling all of my 58yrs and walk out feeling 20yrs younger, my colour is always beautiful and she cuts my hair perfectly every time.

I came into the salon feeling like I’d neglected my hair for three years following working through the pandemic and having a baby. Olivia was amazing and worked out exactly what I’d like for my hair (balayage and toner). The whole experience left me feeling 100000x better about myself and was a much needed treat.

Wanted to treat myself to my hair after a rough few months and seen an ad on Facebook. Called and got booked in with Aaron! Gave him a rough idea what i wanted but free range otherwise. Walked out feeling amazing. Had lots of laughs, felt at ease and loved the end result!

Fantastic. Jess did my hair for my daughter's wedding yesterday. It was superb. She put curls in for me at the start of the day and they stayed in all day, even into the evening after I took my hat off!! They were still in place when I got home!

Always good to have a change and this was my first visit to this salon in years. I was greeted with warm and friendly conversation and a free head and shoulder massage which felt great! I felt very much looked after throughout my visit by three members of staff and my stylist was particularly professional, as she shared her expertise on how to get the most out of my hair. Thank you.

After putting off getting a haircut for quite some time, due to anxiety, I visited the salon after booking a cut and blow dry. I left the salon after 30 minutes, with hair that was still damp at the root, and parts that were straightened and parts that were not.
I was embarrassed to say anything, and left feeling totally deflated.
My hair was thinned to my liking.
I felt that my appointment was rushed and I wish I hadn’t visited.

10 out of ten for cut and colour and knowledge of hair colours to suit my style

I absolutely love my hair as always. Jasmine is so professional and is super lovely. She always makes me feel really welcome and is really easy to talk to. She listens and knows just what I want, she is really knowledgeable in what she does. She is amazing. Lovely hair stylist always cuts my hair perfectly. I have difficult hair to cut but louise always does a great job. A great hair cut that lasts for months.
